I bought a 2021 Buick Envision Essence, it’s built on the Cadillac XT4 platform and has a total makeover beautiful car for about $7-$10,000. Less. It has a 10.2” screen tipped towards the driver. Many good safety items like blind side alert, lane centering, heated steering wheel, spare tire, double laminated glass and sound quieting system. Just a very nice riding and driving car for less. Enjoy.
The complaint about safety systems isn’t fair as u have to spec up in most competitive models as well...the Audi for instance doesn’t offer acc, and various safety systems on the base either and ventilated and massaging seats aren’t available at all. Nor is heated rear seats.
If those are your dislikes, this is a pretty damn good vehicle. I've had the car for 2 years. Here are my dislikes: The transmission is a piece of effing crap. I don't know why it needs to shift so hard. The seat is made crappy. They're NOT comfortable I don't care what you say. Long road trip? Expect stops. The engine is under-sized. It needs another 50 horse. Other than those things, I love the vehicle. It's small, but I like small (TWSS... not).
I have a 2011 srx with the 3.0 v6. It’s actually pretty good in getting up to speed. I know the xt4 comes with better transmission. The xt4 makes around the same power as 3.0 v6. I wouldn’t say it’s slow because it does 0-60 In 7 seconds. Most trucks do 0-60 in 7 seconds
I own one and have 15k miles on it. I agree with your assessment. Do not like the less than luxury ride and road noise. It is using oil a little. I would only consider the new Escalade when the redesign comes out or just go for a Genesis GV80 or Jeep Wagoneer when it comes out.
You hit all the dislikes right on the head! I was a Cadillac customer for years but am not any longer (now happy with BMW). Cadillac will never again be the Standard of the World u til they stop letting the bean counters run the show.
I'm stuck between 2019 xt4 or 2022 Hyundai Tucson limited . Same price. Cool Orange color fully loaded Cadi or the new blue Tuscan limited great ride very hi-tec loaded as well.. Just tell me what to do!
Thank you for the review, I thought to buy it except when watched your video and found the point about the noise and the other one about the pedals and that foot might stuck in between 🥴
Over 6,000 miles in mine.. I say depends on the road as far as noise...I only have one section here by I-95 & Rt. 207 that is horrendous. No matter what you drive it's terrible & it paved???? About the pedal issue???? Size 12 feet and haven't had a problem there!!!! Have a 21 XT4 SPORT & love it... 2.0 turbo is spunky but runs out of steam. It could use the 2.7 turbo for a 300 plus HP. That would be real nice, BUT NOBODY IS LISTENING. ISN'T THAT RIGHT MARY BARRA????
The fact that Cadillac has left out the hatch auto open from inside and the push button close on the hatch to me is a major overlook for Cadillac. I have to drop them a few levels down . All caddy’s should have a auto hatch . A basic to me
I own a "Sport" and no heated seats as standard, the engine is buzzy, to get map updates you have to sign up for on-star. I can buy a cheap Garmin with lifetime maps and not spend $250.00 a year for on-star. For an upper end XT4, too many things not standard.
Ryan, curious, which trim do you buy? Thinking about the XT4 myself. And do you find the road bothersome? Every review I've seen dings the road noise on top of everything being optional vs standard features for a Cadillac.
just bought 22 xt4 very dissapointed very dissapointed. no hands free text messaging, no auto high beam no heated seat no heated steering, no weather radar, no spare tire, no lane control. shocking most ravs have all that for way less money
You DO NOT have to lift your leg up to move your foot from the accelerator to the brake pedal. My heel stays firmly planted on the floor and easily pivots from one to another. I own a '21 XT4 Sport and drive this vehicle every day. Once again, you have a foot problem. See a doctor!
That doesn’t change the fact that it’s elevated significantly compared to other brands. This is common with GM. It’s unnecessary and dangerous for some people. I, sir, do not have a foot problem. In fact, I help people with feet problems with physical therapy 😁
@@PrimeAutotainment You DO have a foot problem and your biased opinion is totally misleading and incorrect! Any implication on your part that GM engineers unsafe features is a crock of guano! Like I said, I'm an owner and I know! Get help with your foot and stop your pseudo expertise, 2 hour, I know everything reviews! EOC!

And it's MADE IN CHINA>>>> XT4 IS MADE IN USA !!!
Very informative😊

Sounds like there is not enough insulation under the wheel well. That is something that can be fixed to reduce tire noise.
Glad I watched this, you gave some good points. The one about the brake pedal sounds like a safety issue.
No safety issue whatsoever! Remember, opinions are the lowest form of knowledge.

well red flag for me.. if its using oil at 15k, it's a POS then.. no new vehicle should burn an ounce of oil.. period!

If you're asking>>>>>>>> XT4!!!!

Instablaster.

So glad I watched this. I was considering an XT4, but I see you really don't get much for the high price. Cross Cadillac off of my list.
Great video I agree

I hope you own a smart phone. You can use Google maps from your phone on the car screen
That CUV is one big flop 👎
Thank you buddy for a good video!!!
**Can you please review the Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate?**
Hopefully I can get ahold of one soon!
that's how you review !
I paid the same for a loaded BMW x3. Compared to that this is way over priced.
Nice, good choice! I agree it’s overpriced too...
I just got one of these in the sport model. I'd add one additional like, if you came with the car :p

only thing i dont trust is the 2 liter turbo engine gm turbos aways take a shit n the engines burn oil the v6 is better
you forgot to mentioned the stereo sucks for that price

then why did you buy it? My XT4 has almost every one of the features you mentioned.
I have heard of some pretty nasty transmission issues on these.
Dang that’s a shame. It drove nice and smooth but with GM lately ya never know...
Something tells me that you really came up with more then just 5 dislikes. Cadillacs are just good to look at. that's about it
Not true I've got one and its drives like nothing else
Cost cost cost. Not cool caddy. Kept me from getting it
This isn’t anything more than a up scaled version of the chevy trax with a different body and interior/ exterior i sear lol

כמה חבל שגם השנה שכחו את הקונים בישראל ולא דאגו לתרגם את המכונית לעברית ממש זלזול בושה לחברה בישראל שמזלזלת בקונים בישראל ולא דואגת לנהג הישראלי בושה
Lol trash GM and to pricey for what it is
