I got a couple of the pink shaded Moonlight Legend and I am so glad I did. It's lovely on deeper skin shades. It disappears when not shining and then has a lovely opal/aurora borealis gem color when it shines.

hey kendall! when brands use the whole “not safe for immediate eye area” it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re dangerous. vegan brands have to use this because of the red pigment they use which can stain the eyelid area (like you said) but they aren’t necessarily dangerous or harmful unless you have very very sensitive eyes/skin. the only reason they have to do this is because the red pigment these companies use is not FDA approved. again, doesn’t mean it’s dangerous for the ordinary person. hope this helps 🔆🔆

Honestly I always thought it was weird when I saw people use eye-shadow pallettes with shades that aren't eye safe. so y'all spent money making a shade that no body can even use? OK then.
It's also because of differing cosmetology/health laws of different areas. I heard that the glitters Colourpop puts in their palettes are considered eye-safe in Europe but not in USA because FDA hasnt updated its health laws or smth like that
It’s not that they aren’t made with the intention to be used on eyes but glitter in the United States can’t be certified as eye-safe or edible (in the case of disco dust) even though they’re considered cosmetic grade or safe for marginal consumption. Making people aware that the glitter products aren’t meant for eyes is just to cover their backs on the legal side. People like the look of large glitter on the eyes so companies aren’t about to stop making it

when its about big glitters it is dangerous because they can fall into your eye and cause damage. as for pigments its fine
