That was actually so well played by them. They knew where they had to defend. And they played that super patient. This is the most ideal play style for a team that is already qualified to win the championship. Patient, not looking for kills, but simply plays the zone and wins it all. Congrats to Reject and they seriously showed the rest of the world that three MnK can be the best.
More impressive considering they're probably the most aggressive team in the world when not in match point format, and had several instances of overaggression throughout the bracket stages.
They did not simply play the zone. We had the view of the support player. They played ultra agressive when needed with their blood being one hell of a fragger
Notice how good they are at ACTIVE LISTENING. They're not yelling, or talking over each other, or repeating the same thing over and over again. They speak clearly, and each one really processes each other's comms. Each word has weight and it's clear that their efficient comms is a huge reason why they seem so calm and focused and ultimately able to execute.
Totally agree! And the thing the other teams kept doing was celebrating kills or round wins… the APAC teams were just much more emotionally chill. Zero was also ice cold which makes the DZ loss so much more painful for them.
An example of what clear comms, patience with no yelling looks like. Planned, executed and delivered. You don't need anything flashy, just plan well and execute even better, this is what they did well. They waited for the right moments, such an underplayed skill as everyone is trying to flex. Also, 3 mnk and one none meta, damn, well done.

Top notch!
