This fanmade video, with BOB is really good, yet as an old Sabaton fan I think Sabatons own video is as good when it comes to depicting the battle. I strongly recommend you to watch it.

Speaking of elements that "do not translate", you should really react to the official music video for Sabaton's To Hell and Back.

the fact that sabaton and Indy Nidel have the companion Sabaton History Channel takes it to an even higher level- I have learned so munch world history through the nugggets that they have formed into songs.. and what an awesome way to present history.

Eric, something else from the Ryman show. They played a PSA about a new memorial here in the US for those who fought in WW1, both before AND after the show. Oh, and Par said the manager of The Ryman told him he had seen many things on his stage-but never a Tank.

In my opinion, the is one of theirs that could use a re-record. Joakim was only just really starting to find his voice at the time this was originally recorded. Still...definitely not bad. They work really hard to do this right. They sat on "Christmas Truce" for years, just because they wanted to make sure they did it justice.

Just a quick add: in Swedish J is pronounced as a Y sound so it's "Yoakim". And Pär's name sounds like the pear fruit in case you needed it.

so this is a fan made video using BOB footage. i was in E/506th living History unit back before the series came out , heck i was at an event with all the Vets and Maj. Winters read the letter he got from Tom Hanks asking his permission to make the series. Wild Bill & Babe were my drinking buddies every year at the Battle of the bulge reenacment in PA .(Prop Blast made for some epic hang overs) Bill was the 1st to shake my hand after my swirly in the latrine during my promotion too SGT in the unit. dam those were some fun times. and you got to love Sabaton

I humbly recommend No Bullets Fly, the animated story video on Sabaton's channel. I feel that this would be a worthy addition to the Wyldeside and that you will personally enjoy it very much.
Love your channel, content and energy, Eric. Peace!

Apocalyptica debuts new song “Live Or Die” featuring Sabaton’s Joakim Brodén.
    ruclips.net/video/lqGTCR0a3Hw/видео.html
Live Or Die” was composed by Apocalyptica and recorded in Finland with Apocalyptica and Martin Hansen (Scorpions) producing.
Apocalyptica and Sabaton have a new but notable history of collaboration.
the two bands recorded a version of the 2010 Sabaton track “Angels Calling,” released in November 2019,
    ruclips.net/video/JyZ8wKTaHRk/видео.html
The chemistry between the two bands was absolutely incredible. Apocalyptica were throwing around their cellos just as hard as Sabaton were throwing around their guitars.”

Great reaction, as always. God, those drums! Great lyrics, nice guitar solo. Another banger.
Band of Brother was awesome, but to me the best film representation of Bastogne is the 1949 classic Battleground. My dad was in a 155 Long Tom crew providing fire support for Patton when he relieved the city and it was his favorite war movie. He said it captured what soldiers were feeling.
Just curious, but do you know the reactor Tank the Tech? I believe he also lives in (or near) Nashville. Thanks for another excellent presentation.

Hearing you talk about Nashville reminds me of something you should probably check out. They're Nashville local, good rock and roll, and a solid amazing act. The Protomen, and I gotta recommend the song Light up the Night. However if you prefer live, and live in Nashville, their official live album has a track called The Will of One.
Their stuff is concept albums essentially, but it's super fun musically.
