LONG MYND RHP MOUNTAIN & TRAIL

- Hi everybody I was stuck for something to do for the weekend and saw this on Facebook Epicentre MTB UK organise mountain bike trips so I've never been to the Long mynd so I thought I would give it a go. As winter draws in the trials aren't in the best conditions as you will see but nevertheless what a fantastic day we had I know this video is a little bit long but to make it much shorter wouldn't do this place justice. Feel free to skip the bits that you are not interested in that may mate take you straight to the end but I hope you do stick with it.
That was epic mate, my kind of terrain, that steep grassy descent scares me as i know i would be flat out down there, act first think later haha, fantastic views, love the natural stuff, i would feel at home here i think, brilliant job mate, the length will scare a few people off i'm sure but it's well worth your time watching this, it doesn't feel like an hour, now don't be a wuss and watch it lol :))

It was a good day yes in the dry that descent would be fantastic but in the wet you wouldn’t stop and you would fly off the end or end upon your back.👍👍
Thanks Mark great to catch up with you again last weekend just gone yes the grass was very wet with underlie of moss so soon you break you just lose all grip . We have to go back in the middle of summer.
We'll get down Shropshire way this summer and do that run it looks great
brilliant video and content mate watched every minute im thinking of heading over for this ride but maybe next year.
I rode here yesterday. It was really good. Carding mill valley was very busy. No way you could ride the rocky bit. Love your vids would love to ride out with you one day.

Thanks Greg just so happens I’ve been there today with my brother first time I’ve gone more than 15 miles from my house in 10 weeks or so it was a bit hot on the climbs but great fun

Carding Mill Valley car park have a great ride it should be absolutely fantastic in this weather .

I can’t remember what it was I think it was not that expensive for five quid and quite close to the Caffe but sure you’ve got good weather when you go it is very exposed oh plenty of layers

Thanks for the positive comments I wasn’t sure how people are going to handle a video of this length but I arrive there at 8:45 which gave me plenty of time to get changed on site left the car at 9:30 and we got back to the car about 2:15 recovered approximately 20 miles
If you freeze video when Strava comes up you will be able to see some elevations and some other information 👍
Really enjoyed that. Do have a gpx of the route or a link to your Strava ride I could see please ?

Hey is your bars on left more they look like they are on wrong. Like the stripe is showing it looks more to the left.

Oh ok. Nah the length of video was good. I don't mind long videos. Gives ya a beeper view of how long and time it takes on certain rides.
