What if there is a power cut and my internet connectivity is lost ? Still the screen command will run the process in the background ???
I want to run a I/O load for 5 hours. And I frequently face power cut issues. Someome please guide me on the same.
Can we send a command to a screen? for example, instead of saying ls in the main Linux command, say ls to the screen, so the list of files would be printed inside a screen?

It is pre-installed, The screen package is pre-installed on most Linux distros nowadays. By-the way Garuda Linux is an Arch Linux base, so you will do things as on Arch Linux

please become more familiar with a product before doing a review. No need to detach from a screen and create a separate screen process for different environments. That's the whole point of the product. i've been running Linux for 33 years. I really hate these reviews by people with no experience.
