I'm 45 and more on the serious, melancholic side of life. Still I love this fragrance. It just smells GOOD, fruity floral but with an edge. Very very recognizable. Good projection as well.
I love this scent! Delicious! So different! Bought it from a magazine scent strip and was in love! Thank you for this lovely description. Thank you for not leaving us guys out! I have a vintage bottle of YSL Opium. No comparison but scents are memories!
Just ordered a bottle this week because I kept reading wonderful things about it. Can't wait to experience it. I love the way you describe fragrances and your voice is so comforting 💜
It is my favorit parfume. My brother give it to me in 2004, and I am now 37 and still love this... And I get a lots of compliments ❤ i am from Denmark and my english is baaaad 😂 sorry
@@thefragrantician Anaïs Anaïs was the 1st proper scent I bought with my own money in 1985. It was a dream and I loved it so much! I smelled soft, femenine and powdery. I have recently sniffed it in a store and it smelled so different from what I remember. I was very confused. Has it been reformulated so drastically or has my nose changed? IDK, but I really disliked the current Anaïs.
OK chantel I will! I have 5 in my cacharel line, and some are vintage, so I'll do this. The only one I never really liked was Loulou but I think cacharel is a range that people can be a bit snobbish about....so let's change that haha 😄😆
@@thefragrantician You're right about the snobbery, still... it's a very popular and affordable house which makes long lasting good perfumes. Super Dacob and Ouch110 reviews of Cacharel are very good and both rave about some of their fragrances. I look forward to your take on your other Cacharel scents 😉
I totally agree with you Gabi ❤️ l am sorry IS the three most important words in a marriage lol 😉 l have & love this fragrance I've not sprayed her in a long ng while,l think I'm going to pull her out this week .tfs 🙏🏼
This was the first perfume I bought for myself. I was 17, in the highschool finalist trip to Tenerife, Canary islands. It was my perfume to the start of university. I kind of miss the excitement of those times :) Might get a small bottle for nostalgia sake :)
I like Amor Amor and your review has made me appreciate it more. I have the flanker called Festival, whose opening note is fizzy cola but pretty similar to the original. It's lovely, bubbly, bright and it cheers me up and lingers on my skin and clothes for about 8 hours.
Ooh I love this one! Yes fruity and playful.. I might have to pick this up again! They used to have some good flankers too but I think they get discontinued quite quickly. Glad that you've got over your scent memory with this one. I hate it when good scents get associated with people we don't get on with ❤️
I loved that one !!!! I just happened to tie a negative experience with it 😑 my mom in law (hi ma, in heaven) sent a care package to the Philippines from Iceland yeaaaaars ago… 2007-2008ish… and that perfume was marked for Me. But of course being just a girlfriend that time, my hubby’s sis in law decided i will not be getting that one and decided to keep it for herself. And being the petty one that she is, she would keep it out on a dresser for me to see (coz I lived with them). 🙃 so even though i love the scent , i will NEVER get it . PETTY me . Hahahaha…. I love Noa by Cacharel though… my mom owned it at one point… and Anais Anais was my bestfriend’s signature fragrance 🤍
That's a shame what an awful woman. I would do the opposite and wear it around her, spray it with gay abandon and flaunt it in her face.....and then more!! Never mind you're the winner here she's the loser!!!💯💖💖❤
I need to revisit the Cacherel (other than the Yes I Am line, of which I have and love two)! Back in the day I loved Anais Anais. I don't remember Amor Amor. Thanks for the reminder. (I love how you've tracked your subscriber count! I can watch your channel grow, and it's so encouraging!) xo
Aaah thanks so much 🙏💓 I love counting my subscribers it gives me motivation to go on, because without loyalty I would not be able to film a video and upload. I love it, and I love you for just supporting me. ❤
When I turned 14, my mother took me to a perfume store and told me to pick out a perfume. One that would have to suit me. I have worn this for 16 years now. I do love this, and people know me for wearing this, but I feel I need to go something a bit more mature. Any recommendations? I always thought this was a Oriental-Floral scent, anything similar? Not too worried about price point, just want something floral and spicy and that lasts.
@@thefragrantician thank you so much! I’ve written down your suggestions and I’m off to the shops tomorrow to try and possibly treat myself! Your descriptions on this perfume was amazing.
Hi Gorgeous! Here for the other story. You may not have liked her but she smelled good so she couldn't have been toooo bad😂😂😂. I really like Cacharel Amor Amor. I love the interpretation of freshness with fruitiness and of course the florals seeping in. Dominique Ropion did THAT! With this!

Cacharel has some lovely and unique fragrances. You are so right about the house being underrated! 💖💖💖
Yes Veronica, my cacharel fragrances are all loved and have been all around Europe with me since the 90's that's how old they are!!! Love cacharel 😀💖❤
I just discovered Amor Amor. Instant love and I bought myself a bottle. Its sooo good. I hope the longevity improves as it ages ....
I smelled this perfume few years ago and fell in love with it ❤

I appreciate that and who knows I might do a comparison it was my mother's signature scent 😄

I love this fragrance it's a good ho to safe one. Thank you 😊 💓 ☺️ 💗

Thanks for sharing! I agree it's very overlooked ♥️
I wonder if this one is similar to Byblos Byblos for women in the turquoise bottle. Another 90s frag -- very fruity.
I remember Anais Anais, was very popular. I haven’t tried any others, but this one sounds good.🌺🌹🌸
Anais anais was so popular back in the day. I recently got it so might just do another video. Old perfumes are just as good as the new ones 😀💞

This was the first perfume that Gary ever bought me. I have a bottle and it brings back so many memories ❤️
Isn't it amazing what a memory can be made from a bottle of scent when it has a special moment. That's lovely you have that 😊❤💞
Yes, definitely do a Cacharel fragrance video! 😍

Hugs 💕💕💕💕💕💕
I smelt this one back in the day, but can't remember it, so looking forward to seeing what you think 👍👍👍
It's lovely....but isn't as long lasting as my others but they're all pretty reformulated versions!
Wow, that 18 years has gone so fast. This was just released when I got it. It only seems like yesterday. Lovely video ❤️❤️❤️
18 years can go by very quickly lol 😆

Wow a cola note! That's interesting!! Love it 😀😍❤
I adore it. I need something similar but stronger with better longevity
Same here!

Yes Claire I try not to sweat the small stuff!!!
Yes do a Cacharel video, I think they are great for lasting, especially Eden if my memory serves me right! Great review hun, love you loads 🙌😍🌹💗
Yes I'll do one I have vintage cacharel fragrances they're all over 20 years old and still smell wonderful! Thanks Ang ❤😊🙏❤
This one was my signature scent in highschool 🥰 I think I might order a bottle just to remember what is smells like ♥️
It's a go to everyday fragrance 😀
Amor amor by cacharel is my signature scent😊
A wonderful signature

Givenchy l interdit is beautiful with the tuberose. Otherwise serge lurens fleur d oranger is beautiful with the cumin. Floral spicy is beautiful 😍

Another Dominique Ropion gem. :)
