A shame you can't save the Mask of Regret, the petrified dwarf and the elf AND get the cutscenes at the illusionary wall... Anyway, you added the one thing I sometimes miss: expressing my intent and motivations and how my character sees it. Brings your character really alive.
If you look at the cursor / highlighted text you can see which line of dialogue I am selecting. I often say / read the line as it's written, but often also improvise what I feel is a better line for my character (but carries the same overall point / premise as the original line). Sometimes I feel the regular line doesn't say / express enough, so I improvise and "re-write" the line basically so it works better for my character, then I record it and add it in into the video with video / audio editing software.
Also, sometimes there are no lines of dialogue, but there is "dead air" in some scenes, so I sometimes improvise a new line and slip it in. A good example of this is at 21:27 in this video... The line: "Sisters, Brother, I will avenge you." Is not in the game.. but I wanted to show my character's sorrow for the loss of two other fellow Paladins and a Cleric, so I improvised and slipped those in because there was some dead-air where it would fit.
@@Hathur I think your edits and additions are absolutely on point! The dialogues are rather dry and not designed to be spoken, so your writing makes it that much richer. Really completes the character :)

Don't know what you mean. It was basically the best outcome. Mayrina was saved, no deal was made with the super evil hag and the hag was killed,. What more were you expecting?
@@Hathur my apologies perhaps I didn’t throw in enough words. I was talking about in regards to the brothers downfall shame about them but the important thing is you are right. The hag is finished at this time. She’s not coming back. As for the undead husband only time will tell how things go. And told my friend this, I guess you can call it a chapter or mission you’re officially caught up that’s what I was saying before. And I look forward to the rest of the gate especially with you voicing your character which you are doing outstandingly
It took me a good three attempts to get into it but I have almost 1000 hours in it now; it really does deserve the hype. I’ve never played a game as much as this one.

The dialogue that you voiced acted, are they in game dialogue or your writing? It really is excellent writing, and excellently voiced!

I bought this game the day it came out. I've only played it once. Sadly 😢
