I have used plasma cutters for a while, if you use the same technique that you use on a acetylene torch by weaving it back and forth it will cut, by marking and scribing a line this will be easier to follow and practice will give you a really nice cut.
Very impressive for it's size! I like what you said about the comments on price. People love to brag or bash and not back it up with facts or reasoning. You do really good tool reviews, definitely helpful and thorough! Thanks for sharing with us bud!
Thanks a lot Chris. Yeah no matter how cheap you got it, someone else got it cheaper! And they need the world to know it too. I’m glad you liked that I thought maybe I sounded like an asshole but I left it in anyway! Thanks for watching bud!
@@farmertylerranch4399 You didn't sound like an asshole. I've been tempted many times to say it harsher. With my Stihl MS250 chainsaw videos people will say "that saw is junk!!" Well, it's been a great saw for me. Tell us why it's junk!

I just got mine home,,got it hardly used,,a hand full of cuts like new condition,, and 1000 bucks , l think I did ok I couldn't find them for less then 1640 dollars and I got a torch kit that sell for 125..And no more nasty cut off wheels.
Good review. Now that I've earned enough money with the Chinese 3-in-1 that's performed flawlessly for 10+ years, I'm looking into upgrading. Now, I'm not sure that I would be.
Fantastic video. Killer shop, too. How big of a compressor do you need to run that? I've never had a plasma cutter as I've done everything with oxy acetylene torches.
it can be set up 1 of 3 ways, not 1 of 2 ways, you for got the gouging tip for cutting open cracks in a V to weld up, most handy for all welding repair.. take the place if arc air carbon
Nice review. I use to use my torch all the time for cutting, but since I got the plasma cutter, I hardly ever turn the tanks on. If you figure what a torch set-up cost, ya save money in the long run. Yeah, I know it's only good for cutting, but how many times do ya heat something up.
I totally agree and had the same experience. Used to use the torch all the time and now I use it once or twice a year. And usually I’m only using it because of the portability. Thanks for watching!
Hey it’s California, the weather is about the only thing it’s got going for it! It might be cold in North Dakota but at least you have your freedom and you’re not surrounded by lunatics!
If I could get my hands on a Lincoln I’d be happy to! Unfortunately I’m just a regular dude that makes videos, the only tools I can test are the ones I own or my friends loan me. I’ll check the cfm on the compressor and get back to you!
Tyler for a small as it is does a good job and do agree if you find something cheaper than anyone else give link so someone else can buy it at savings.
Thanks Roger yes it’s a sweet little machine for sure! Yeah I’m all for people leaving a link to a great price just don’t need a bunch of people bragging about how cheap they supposedly found it!
Good tips as usual Tyler, and yes ya might get a better deal off the internet or Amazon ? Our farm and home store in our area keeps consumables for the red and blue equipment in stock ....so if your viewers buy a off brand they better buy some extra consumables also ...the reason i know this ...lol
Thank you BTO. You bring up a great point about consumables. I’ll confess I’ve made that mistake too! I bought an Everlast tig machine for work and no one I know of carries that brand. Fortunately the consumables ended up being the same as another common brand so I was ok but I thought I really messed up there for a minute!
@@farmertylerranch4399 lol yep your correct there on some brands being interchangeable !! I have a Thermo Dynamics cut master 42 labelled as Victor it's a dual voltage machine also .... i need a trigger switch on the torch handle and think i was told it's Esab s handle ....i need to get ahold of them again and a follow up on getting it fixed
Oh how do you like your Everlast welder ? I bought a Tweco fabricator 211 same time as plasma cutter .... I'm really impressed with it's stick welding capabilities, mig hmm , I just haven't made the bond yet, my boy does good job with it tho , it has tig capabilities also but i haven't purchased the cables yet !
The Everlast is ok. I’ll probably do a review on it as well. The stick arc is really smooth! I suck at tig welding so I probably shouldn’t speak to that! Haha! All in all for the price it’s pretty tough to beat. I have a Thermal Dynamics at work too. I think it’s an AWESOME machine! I have put a ton of hours on it and never a hiccup. I don’t know about the torch though, I’d search amazon.
@@farmertylerranch4399 my plasma has a daul trigger so to speak ... ya have to slide part of it back then depress , if that makes any sense, I'm sure it fell and broke part of the trigger, i sure hate to buy a new lead for sure ..... do you tig weld aluminum with your Everlast ?
Picked one up used at a pawn shop. It didn't come with the filters you had would I still be safe with just an air water separator coming off my compressor?
Let me ask you, I’m 17 building a drag racing truck (87 s10) and I’m looking to get a plasma cutter, my dad is friends with a Miller rep and he has a show model for around $1000 maybe a little more. Do you think this is a good investment for me

You e had it a year now, how is this machine working out for you? Do you it more in the shop or in the field,? Any problems? Thanks and enjoyed the video
Well this was actually a loaner from my friend. I called him and asked your question and he said he’s still happy with it, used mostly in the shop and no problems to speak of
Thanks Blake. Man I’m glad to hear from you! In your last video it sounded like that guy was threatening you and then you just disappeared! Hope all is well man
"If no one else can get it that cheap, no one cares" Good point, perfect way to say it!
Haha thanks!
Hey brother just wanted to give you a thumbs up Miller should hire you you did a great job God Bless America.
Thank you very much Dave! I’m glad you liked it!
Thank you for explaining duty cycle. I always figured if the unit shut off, I went too far, haha.
Thanks for straight out the I pay less, bravo great review.

Great show! I never know that little machine could do that, thanks i guess I’ll buy one soon, just takes a little time to show more and you did, bravo
Great review! You helped me pick out my new plasma cutter.
Great job on the video !!!! Looking to buy this exact plasma cutter so this helps from someone that actually works with metal.
Good job on the tool review & demonstration. It was good to see that you showed the limitations of the tool's abilities also. Stay safe.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it
Thanks for the review. You use the KISS (Keep It Simple Smartie) principle in the video. Good job!
Thanks Ardurbin. I thought it was “keep it simple stupid”! Haha! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!

Try it on 115 I couldn't believe how well it does,
I agree 220V min voltage for any welding everyone I seen who tried 110v trips breakers right in the middle of their welding.
Tig welding is normally not an issue but stick welding without a dedicated 30amp outlet doesn’t work very well

I can see where on metal 3/8” and thicker you would reach your duty cycle real quick.
Great video. One day soon I'm gonna email you questions about plasma cutters. Just a lot going on atm.
Thanks Keith I’ll be watching for it!
Do you think it would've cut threw the material better if grounded directly to it?
Nice review Tyler. I had no idea they cost that much holy crap. Take care and stay warm.

Can you please make the same video on the Hobart 40i

Good review...
Is that too harsh???
Thanks Wa Chang!
What is the air pressure that it needs to run? Thanks.
Great video!!! I have same unit and I haven’t tested it yet , I just have that same filter do I need to add a water separator? Can’t wait to use it
Yeah you want dry air for sure
Working good
do you need the filter and dryer?

Ok, the title of your video says review of the Miller Spectrum 375, but in the video your are showing the Miller Spectrum 375 Extreme!
Which one would you pick out of the Hobart 40i and the Miller 375?
Hard to say I’ve never used the Hobart
If they took it as harsh, they shouldn't have brought their feelings with them.
Well said! Thanks Gary!
More volume please.👍
Haha yeah this was a pre microphone video. Sorry!
I just picked one up for 289 bucks...
This machine cuts aluminum
I just dropped a little over 1600 after tax lol and picked it up this morning.
