The stephen and selina thing was forced when he came back. Her and jesse were really happy and writers litterally only put her with Stephen cause tempany deckert was leaving it. Makes no sense that he missed seeing her when he was away cause before they left there was no scenes together of them and she had completly moved on so talk about rewriting history and plus jesse was a good friend to steven before steven left when he was going through a bad time and when he came back they made it seem they were always enemies which wasnt the case.
