Find and Add Missing Fonts to PDF || Add Fonts to Adobe Acrobat Pro

Have you ever tried to edit or add text in a PDF with Adobe Acrobat and the font that is used in the PDF is not available? This video will show you how to find the missing font in Google Fonts or on another font site, download it, install it to your Font Book (Mac) or Fonts in Control Panel/Appearance (PC), relaunch the Acrobat application and edit the PDF again. Now the font that was used in the PDF and you needed should be as a font option.

Hi thanks for the video. Something to add because I took all these steps and they didn't seem to work: Adobe has a weird listing system that seems to see upper and lowercase letters and something different. If your font begins with a lowercase letter you will find it at the very bottom of the list so bugzlife won't be next to Butterfly. Don't know why that's like that but it is so check at the bottom of the font list before tearing your hair out lol!

When I edit a pdf text in Adobe acrobat, after I edit a text the text position won't be the same as the original, it narrows the gap, text jumping

That is definitely very annoying, @dayumay. What I would suggest is duplicating the original box with the text.
Now you will have two boxes - the original text/position and the other that you will update and can move slightly/jump.
Once you update one of them, you will have the original box that you can use as a reference to re-position it as it was. Then, you can keep the updated box and delete the original one.
However, I understand that selecting between the two can be a bit tricky and finicky. So it may not be a perfect solution, but it's a workaround worth trying.

Hi, thanks for this video. I have just the Reader. Using the Comment feature, I'm missing font size 11. I have 10 & 12 but not 11. Is there a way to add this font size?

Hi Andy - you should be able to change the font size manually. When I go to edit my PDF and change the font of the text, it also shows me even sizing 10, 12, 14, etc., every 2 points. But you can highlight the font size & go to the font size box, and type in size 10pt. Let me know if that works. Cheers! ( ＾◡＾)っ
