So that skull bear-like thing, you can look up Annihilation bear scene, and let me warn you... It fucked me up. Seriously. It gave me, a 20 year old horror film buff, nightmares for three weeks.
I have always had a semireasonable/unreasonable phobia of bears (I saw a bear attack as a child) and this scene fucking terrified me, and yet a have this strange morbid curiosity that makes me rewatch this scene sometimes. It feels almost like a way to cope with my fear, idk.
This movie scared the crappity crap out of me. I watched the movie yesterday, and then I looked up theories on it, and found you guys. Have you done a follow up after you’ve seen Annihilation? Your comments on the preview were pretty dead on, as I’m sure you know. Liked and subscribed.
Oh yeah she's amazing actress I uh have a crush on her when she starts doing the prequels trilogies. I saw Annihilation last February 25th,2018 it was really scary pretty mind fuck.
the movie Annihilation was awesome, however the second book (Authority) is actually more about Southern Reach - a lot of company blabbering about the Shimmer zone, reading through the records and testing it. It is very mysterious but unfortunately almost unreal to capture on movie screen.
@@Perthorn Maybe they could make the second and third book into one movie and have cuts to scenes from the second book in order to explain the third as it unfolds?

This is one of the most misleading trailers I’ve ever seen. Mainstream audiences are gonna be horrified once they realize what this movie is actually about. It’s not even really a sci fi movie. It’s a psychological horror.
Its about how destruction and creation are sometimes both the same thing. And it explores how even down to a molecular level we have self destruction coded into us but sometimes it can also make us who we are. Its quite a brilliant and unique way of going about it. Also the whole trilogy is supposed to be psychological that was the whole point of it, it was meant to make you really think
Because of their face i am only assuming, which looks exactly like the werewolves from Elder Scrolls. They may not be werewolves, but their face is the same. Search in google "elder scrolls online cinematic werewolves".
