I once had a student that was super agressive and even hit me. He was failing and always skipping class, and the only thing I did was talking to him on a regular basis and found out he had a huge depression. Sometimes all we need is to find out more.

You're literally so sweet. I studied art in school and everyone kept asking me "what are you going to do? teach?" like it was a negative, and knowing I have never been fond of younger kids, it was a joke to them, so I never pursued it. I went back to school and studied communication, because I thought it would help me find something I was passionate about... Here I am, 6 months later, and all I can do is think about wanting to be a teacher. Your videos have really shown me that this is what I want to do. After watching all of them, and following your instagram account, I applied and have been accepted into a lateral entry teaching program where I can get my license, but finding a job is looking to be extremely difficult. I have applied for a ton of them in my area. Hurricane Florence just ripped my town (Wilmington, NC) apart, and I don't know how to move forward. I have also always wanted to start an instagram, youtube and/or blog about my life and experiences. I know you have been through a lot, and I just need some guidance or advice from someone my age, who has been though a rough time, and finally pursued something they have dreamed about. Thanks for being such an inspiration. 💕💕💕

So I know you aren’t feeling well, but I just wanted to tell you that as I’m going through this teacher program to get certified I can get so discouraged but everything I’m not allowed to do, but when I watch your channel you bring this glow to the classroom and instead of focusing on the negative you focus on the positive. As I sit and watch my various social media account be flooded with posts about the Emmy Awards, I just really want to take a moment to thank you and teachers like you who wake up everyday so incredibly excited to come to work and make a difference in the lives of our future doctors, activists, lawyers, writers, engineers, teachers, mechanics, artists, mothers and fathers, like just, you are making such a difference - the impact you leave behind is beyond actual words! I teach college English, and I see this impact in my own students and it brings me so much joy. So thank you. I don't think teachers hear this enough, nor are they shown this appreciation enough. Thus, I'll just leave this ramble of a comment here and hope that while I am not "The Academy of So and So of Blah Blah Blah" you, and others like you, realize that we do honor you and everything you do so very much.

Girl, being sick as a teacher is the worst!! This week at school has been literally the most fun and the toughest for me, it’s Homecoming Week (and I am a Student Council advisor), I have been sick, and today is my birthday! I have been crazy busy, but all of the birthday wishes were just so sweet from all of my kids! Just had to share that with you ☺️

Im a 23 year old high school biology teacher and you inspire me so much I would love to learn more from you. I took this as a side job but now Im considering it as a career thank you Brittany for your channel I never thought I would be following a teacher youtuber!
Im also 5’0 and get stopped by security/ mistaken as a student all the time!
I’m 32 and when became a teacher i just turned 23. I taught physics to juniors and seniors and had “grown men” who were in their way to college. (PS I’m also 5foot!) i admire your positivity but i taught for 6 years and I actually got very jaded until I realized that when i had to pep myself up mentally to get through the next block it was time i bow out! I was really good, won awards and students saw me as a role model, and kids came back from college to visit. I have multiple cards and letters from various students but in my heart i just fizzled out. My advice to you is don’t burn the wick at both ends and go 100mph all the time, i believe i did not balance my personal life well and it caused burn out. Stay strong and keep up the good work!

I’m a junior in HS and your videos popped up in my recommended and I’d say I would rather you as a teacher than like any other teacher at my school you’re so fun and do a lot with different learning styles I don’t want to be a teacher but I will say your videos interest me.
