I bought a fretted, real Club Bass in 1966 down in South Florida for $365 w/case. It was excellent, however, I sold it when I had un unexpected invitation (draft notice) to join the military starting in 1969.

What I prefer about the Ignition series is it's fully hollow, so it's lighter and louder acoustically.
