Brilliant! You could put the wheels on the outside of the wooden blocks, held on with a smaller wooden block of the same design. Also, it might be much easier to make your trailer bigger, you can keep it assembled then. Have it short side down, just have good strap attachment points and a low centre of gravity overall. Just a thought 🙂 looks like a lot of fun, looking forward to seeing whats in your medieval fields 😀 👀🔍🙂🥸
maybe with some sort of strap device to wear thus leaving your arms free--- ?? -- might be less strain on your back and arms. Detecting Scotland in a comment on this page has a similar thought. I actually like the idea of you inside rather than being on the outside--- would your keys in your pocket set off the detector?
@@WestCountryClegg I think so. And you are always more precise when you pull than when you push if you want to do parallel lines and detect every inch of the field.
how about another plastic tube between the wheels to keep them in place. you know just large enough to slide over the axle. or even clear poly hose. I'm very handy so following this project closely.
Hi Cleggy, looks like a great coil. Based on the video showing you holding the coil and lifting it while pushing, is this how you intend to push it? If so, I would highly recommend you adding a single swivel wheel in the middle of the bottom rail. It will allow you to push and easily change directions while being less tiring on you arms. Just a suggestion.
Dear Master Cleggy , I do believe you will be figuring out how to haul it whole after first trip on the field. I can hardly wait for you to go on a field with it. Yours kindly, Miss Judy
Cleggy, if you had a few lovely Ladies that Intro could have been a Benny Hill Sketch 🤣
Absolutely
😂
Best of luck CLEGGY have no doubt you will find treasure it will be Epic 😁😁😁😁👍
Thanks 👍
Yay....Upcoming HOARD discoveries! I will be able to brag saying "I've been following Cleggy since before he found the BIG HOARD that made him famous.
Fingers crossed!

Good tip!
I admire your dedication and perseverance. Can't wait to see it working. I wish you lots of luck 🤞🏻
You and me both!
Can’t wait Mr Cleggy! I’ve been waiting ages and it’s nearly here 😁
You and me both!
Well done ! Maybe you could try and pull the giant coil insteand or pushing it. Would be more comfortable and easier.
Good idea!

You're pulling our legs it's just your new walking frame 😂

Thanks, I've got some black Porous Soaker Hosepipe that would work me thinks
Blimey ! You're gonna have border collies herding sheep into that thing when you go out😅👍
Wow that looks amazing I’m looking forward to seeing how you get on good luck and happy hunting
Cheers Mate !
That’s made me really miss blue Peter !
Good effort mate
Thanks 👍
you need some wheel barrow type handles on that, or you will slip a disc at that angle mate .
Cant wait!!!!
nor me, it's just going through customs
@@WestCountryClegg hope they dont hit you for VAT or some such....
WooHoo! Released from customs, it on it's way!!!
Linch pins,or split pins for your carbon fiber pole, should keep them wheels put!Great stuff!!
Thanks for the tip!
If you somehow made a cage in the middle with a harness you could literally just walk around with it attached to you which would be less work 👍
The time and effort you have put in to that sir, it could only mean it will be epic.
Kind regards Ian and Connor Green.
clegg use a cable tie both sides of the wheel to keep the wheel from moving about all the best kev
It's definitely a lot of work. I hope you all the best on finding your Golden treasures.
Thank you!
try a length of pvc tube between the wheels to keep them in place x
good idea👍
@@WestCountryClegg please disregard my earlier comment. should have done some reading first. gary beat me to it.
Cleggy 😅👍🏼 Come on 50,000 gold coins of power, maybe couple of plastic handles so you can push like wheel barrow and don't trip on the beast 👌👍🏼🍻
Not a bad idea
You could put a harness on it and pull it along behind you so know false signals , good luck
I hope it works out for you Cleggy !
Hi Brian,
My RUclips channel has been struggling a bit and I thought I would do something that would make it pop

I'll see how it goes
I forgot, you’re much hunger than me, 😂😂
I'd love to turn up at my local dig club with one of those and start putting it together and see everyone's faces
Looking good cleggy but you will have to dig deeper down for artifacts good luck.😀👍
Cheers Cleggy...Q: will that metal rod used for your wheels interrupt accurate readings from the coil? Being under the coil?
Carbon Fibre, I don't think so
Thank you..I missed what it was made of...your hoard awaits you good sir.

We shall see Miss Judy👍
I wish you luck with it but I have to admit in my thinking I couldn’t be doing with all that digging, I will stick to my Ctx 😂
I understand
Might need fatter wheels if you run into soft ground. You could hook it to ur bike and pull around field instead of pushing it.✌️😎
Just wondering why not have 4 wheels, I expect there's a reason?
BEAUTIFUL ! Fingers crossed brother !
Fingers crossed!
Looks epic Cleggy👍👍
Thanks 👍
😎
Are you going to tow it behind your bike lol
You need a MUCH bigger trailer, that assembly/disassembly is gonna get old!!!
Yes but…it takes soooo long to set up? 😅
My geophysics machine took an hour to set up
Looks like a … circus outfit to me
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Drill and pin
