First mod I did on my 2014 Ninja 1000 in May of 2014. I installed the R&G radiator guard. Its been on the bike going on 7 years with no issues. I did no uninstall the farings. Piece of cake.
Wow man been a very long time. first of all a big thanks for making such in-depth videos about the bike setup. The quality and explanation are top-notch. I am getting delivery of my 2021 ninja 1000sx next week and I have been following your video tutorials ever since I put the order for it (which would be about 1.5months ago) I will be using these tutorial vids for all the basic mods that I am planning to do on it (so plz do not ever remove them) Heck... I've added your whole playlist for myself as a future reference for everything from Faring removal to fender elimination and LED backlight install. And based on your videos and the tools you use I have even ordered the Tektron wrenches from the US (as they are a bit difficult to get here in OZ). So good on ya for your effort as no one has such a comprehensive series on the ninja 1000sx on the net elsewhere. Now I can wait to get my hands dirty with the new build.
been awhile! I was planning to buy ninja 1000sx when i first found out about your tutorial videos, but now i have zx6r lol! still gonna watch your vids as refernce! Keep up the good work!
Hi Jonathan, enjoyed watching your video,I highly recommend putting on a front mud guard extender aswell, when I had my z1000sx,I put one on the bike and it also protects the radiator and exhaust from debris thrown up from front wheel,I have now got the Ninja h2sx se,which I absolutely love, traded in my z1000sx last year, great bike!bike is in hibernation due to the winter and salty roads here in Scotland!
I have a 2019 ninja 1000 abs and love it. I've gotten a few after market parts for it and am ordering this exact radiator guard this week. Great video. Hope to see more. I subscribed!
Good to see your videos this has helped me a great deal on my own bike. Keep up the good work. I’ve just got the same Radiator Guard so this video is especially useful. Thanks again.👍🏻
Quality video. I've owned the evotech guards, well made. I only wish they would make the holes smaller in the center portion , width of say the fender. Like the Trick Star or BEET Rad guards. As examples.
Hi Jonathan. Great videos. Inspirational for me because I have the same motorcycle and year. But I need your advice. After starting, the idle speed starts to rise and in the back of the service they did not know what it could be. It stays at 2000 rpm and then the needle oscillates from 1800 to 2000. You have no experience with this. I'm sick of it.
They're the Angel GT II. I like them a lot. They have a very nice comfortable road feel, like they feel softer than the stock tires, even at the same pressure. The grip in all conditions is really good. The only thing I've noticed is that the front tire is more sensitive to siping in the road, likely due to the parallel lines cut into the tire. It's not a problem, but I've noticed it.
Thanks for your opinion😉 Probably I'm gonna choose them, however I also considering to buy Michelin Pilot Road 4 for this new 2021 season. Hope you upload more things on your channel. All the best in the new year 👌
I bought the Evotech for my 2016 Ninja 1000 because of this video. Keep on putting out the good content John.

On the new ninja 1000sx 2020 model the evotech cover is easy to install, no need to take anything off the bike,2 minute job.
Nice! I’m glad to hear it’s easier on the newest model.
Hello Jonathan! I see that you got Pirelli Angel GT tyres, am i right? Do you recommend them? BTW, great video, as usual😉

Hi Jonathan, thakyou for the video.
Will this guard affects the motor's temperature during the summer?
I can't say for sure, but it doesn't seem like it. The holes are fairly large, and certainly a lot less restrictive than the radiator itself.
U made us wait.....Too "Long"
Haha! Sorry for the long wait!
Я долго думал, нл нестал устанавливать заслонку. Она изменяев вихривые потоки. Я просто удленнил переднее крыло и грязи нету на радиаторе!
Pero si no se ve🤦

You’re first, buddy
