THE Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: 1) a just ruler; 2) a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; 3) a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; 4) two men who love each other for Allah’s sake, meeting for that and parting upon that; 5) a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position (for illegal intercourse), but be says: ‘I fear Allah’, 6) a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity; 7) and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.’”

Yes I agree, he speaks wisdom and truth in this. The true god, who is beyond our grasp of completely understanding is one who speaks truth through his vessels. He who took and remade me from what I was, into this which I am now, I say to any who read these words, that I know the hand of my maker, I know my makers works. This man who speaks is a vessel of Allah. For though I am of a different culture and traditions, the word of Allah is open and easy for me to grasp. I can get the message without even needing to understand the language. The words meanings seem to reveal themselves. This man follows the truth of him, this I testify before you.

Every single group has it's good and bad people in it. Doesn't matter if they are religious or not. Most all religions say that people without a religion can't be good. But that doesn't really work nowadays. You can be kind as a atheist, agnostic, or disbeliever. It depends on your upbringing and what you were taught growing up. Morals and values.
I thought the same things. I am skeptical about the theory in this video that you can’t be consistently good without religion. I get the main ethos which is you have to constantly fear God or there is no incentive to continuously do good and no deterrent not to do bad. But I do believe that with the right upbringing, morals instilled and having a natural conscience that some people are consistently good without religion. But maybe not good in private from a religious standpoint e.g. adultery, fornication, lustful actions, gluttony, gambling and so on. Possibly.
You can be good sometimes without religion but not always but you need Religion in Fearing one God to make sure you stay good always or are you not aware some people who are good and kind too others only because you may have something they want or just to get some attention from anyone watching "Alterior Motive" not because they fear God
