All these videos say to get tools asap..but in game you cant until you progress in the story anyway. So kind of beyond your control.. Its not like i can just go out and attain them without the story progressing
If you fail the contractor request do you still get the reward? I find doing contracts, especially don’t get spotted, if by accident I do I just let the guards kill me to reset it.
You just get the standard rewards, you miss out on bonus items for not completing the special request which to me is no big deal. Mostly it's just extra money or tokens which you can easily get from pick-pocketing especially in the wealthy Round City district.
and with blow darts being just a worse version its not when u need to get by two people and u dont have knives or u shoot one of them its make them try to wake them up the kill them both rather then wastinng a blow dart when that is posabble to do

If you use the berserker darts with the blowgun you can have your enemies take care of themselves.
onw quick thing is if u like to stay stealth get the throwing knife then the blow darts
