    Dear Dianne
    Can we use Vine charcoal for preliminary drawing followed by applying oil paints directly over them?

    • @IntheStudioArtInstruction
      @IntheStudioArtInstruction  6 лет назад +3

      Yes, but the vine charcoal needs to be fixed before apply paint over it, otherwise it will muddy the first layers of paint.

    Dear Dianne as I enjoy the videos for drawing that I downloaded, I would like to know which videos to download for landscape? I like to paint landscapes in plain air or from photo. Thank you

      As you know, each video explores a single composing principle, but many of them use the landscape as subject. I would suggest beginning with those in Series 31-Working in Direct Sunlight. The Series begins with a lesson about Locating Sunlight.

    What do you use to keep the your drawing using the N15 pen on the canvas from dissolving when you start to paint. Do you spray it?

    • @IntheStudioArtInstruction
      @IntheStudioArtInstruction  4 года назад +3

      The Tombow pen ink is water soluble, but does not dissolve with oil based mediums, so there's no need to spray it.

      @@IntheStudioArtInstruction So you are saying the oil paint will not desolve it. What about Acrylic paint?
