  • Jia Wu was deployed in Afghanistan when she experienced several mini-strokes that went undiagnosed. When she returned home, medical technology detected that she had survived multiple smaller strokes and was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease. Two brain surgeries were needed to extend her life. Today, Jia wants to empower women to stand up for their health and know the signs and symptoms of stroke. Jia is a member of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women 2023 Real Women Class of Survivors.

We're all allocated 3 score and ten (70) from birth, anything after is added on time for being a non smoker or drug taker.
