how is your power strip on the bottom of your desk?
That's like my setup. One 32 inch ASUS 1080p monitor on a mount, I have a soundbar under the monitor, my PC is on a shelf at the bottom of the desk.

I'd recommend you get a flexing chain for the powercable, cleaning that up from just sitting on the floor, but really great setup!

Having one monitor is makes your setup clean, but if your going to use only one at least have a big one like a 27 or 32 inch monitor. Dual Monitors are for multi taskers and streamers I think, and one monitor is for people who plays games for fun or something else that doesn't require a second monitor
this is a 32", I honestly love it. I'm starting to care less about having a secondary monitor.

one recommendation i have is selling that 4080 and downsizing to a 4080 FE. Same card, probably cheaper, and would allow for you to switch over to an itx case when the time comes. great setup man

The most important part of that setup is that Wooting, the only thing that legit is a big game changer.

you should look at some of the SSUPD cases. they make ITX cases that have support for large GPUs
I looked at one of them but tbh just didn't like it anywhere near as much as the ones optimum has covered

I haven't used it in over a year but that's only because I lost it. wasn't a bad product

I would only get it if you also have a capable pc. it's great on console tho
would have put the dac under the table and route the cable under. If it doesnt fit buy another dac. they all sound the same
Or just buy the audeze maxwell that are wireless and has better sound and got a mic.
(with equalizer apo tuned to the harman 2018 for the better sound than ur 990s)

hey, what do you think about OLED for working? I am afraid of getting some burn-ins when working on static content > 8 hours a day (macOS toolbar, chrome, etc). On the other hand, I remember that getting a good IPS panel without defects was a lottery, at least 5 years ago. I've returned 3 Asuses PG279Q, all of them had backlight bleed and ended up with ViewSonic 2703-gs, and the first one was already great quality. I've checked some comments and IPS lottery still seems to be the case nowadays...
this monitor has a 3 year burn in warranty which is nice but i am only going to work on it sparingly (bringing my laptop over occasionally). IPS panels still have that problem so hard to say 100% either way

the gigabyte m32u is pretty good, I have it at my parents and it's a great monitor. 4K 144hz
still a bit of backligjt bleed but not terrible
Do you need the audio interface? I just plug my iems to the back of mv7
not necessarily, it's recommended with the 250 ohm versions of the dts tho

Minimal means he has the essentials HE NEEDS, the term minimal does not mean that he needs to put away stuff he uses to oversimplify the setup. People often have a wrong take on the meaning of minimalism

The computer is completely out of place. It's not a real minimal gaming setup if you're not using a mini ITX case.
