Wow Eric, Love your skill sharing. You are very knowledgeable. I'm a Canadian and am not familiar with these types of fish. The tarpon and peacock fish are gorgeous. Are they tasty? Bass and pickerel are my favorites to eat, especially for breakfast. Your bike is the bomb. Keep shining on sunshine. 🐟🐡🐠🌞
Got some rain water flowing now vs the low water. I See you caught some good recreation 🤙 was in Edwards fishing the eagle river Colorado. Stopped in vail valley anglers to grab a 5w for streams memorial weekend but also was explaining for peas, small tarpon they were somewhat confused as to the 5 being too small but I pulled my phone out to show them the 5w chronicles…some of the guys said they keep up with you..fun times can’t wait to get back home (south) especially with the rains lately…
It depends on the rod. If you look closely, the rod all the way to the left is a 9wt. I fit my Renegade 10wt perfectly too. My 11 fits, but it's pretty tight. It depends on the size of the largest guide.
Eric I recently moved to south Florida and today I was trying to catch some peacock bass in the canals in my development, caught some large mouth but couldn’t get the peacocks to hit. What flies do you recommend for the peacocks? Thanks.
I did a video a few years ago with Jackson Kayak on my favorite flies for Peacock Bass. I am also working on a video on how to trigger a bite from a peacock bass using a fly.

Are you using a saltwater fly line or freshwater?
I am using the Cortland Tropic Series Saltwater line in a 5wt.
@@Eric.Estrada so when you fish for freshwater are you still using the saltwater fly line? Sinking or floating?
