In 2014 Culture Club Decided to reform and travel to Spain for a two week recording session, And with that session 18 New Tracks were completed for a new Album which was produced by YOUTH ( Who has previously worked with Paul McCartney, The Verve and Embrace among others ) The New Album was meant to be called Tribes and was scheduled for release in early 2015 on the Bands own label called "Different Man Music" with Kobalt label service. In mid November 2014 two days before the start of their 21-date US & UK Tour Culture Club announced they had to cancel due to Boy George suffering a severe throat condition. The album TRIBES was then shelved after the bands brief falling out. After making up ( Again) they decided to bring on a new producer and go back in the studio, the final result was the album LIFE.. On this Mix are the original versions from the Tribes album alongside the LIFE Tracks.. I’m my opinion this is the closest we’ll come to having the proper unfinished album. A beautiful album Been listening to Boy George and the Culture Club since I was 14 the soul of the music is a part of me This album just popped up on my play list so cool 😎 and awesome how this version was just right there and played mysteriously even though I was watching a different video well glad it did
If LIFE had included 'moody monday', 'like I used to', 'solid ground', 'written in the stars' and 'hard times', it'd have been CC's best album to date - even better than COLOUR BY NUMBERS

Colour by Numbers takes some beating but this does it by hat fulls... Love every track, they're an eclectic mix of great backing, fantastic lyrics and a voice that is maturing beautifully...your falsetto is divine...please get this into CD format for an old fan who loves the definitive item in her collection....😊
Love this, for me the best songs from Tribes (Hard times, Solid Ground, Written in the Stars) were left off the finished Life album. I loved Life but those 3 songs I mentioned were far superior to Different Man, Resting Bitch Face and Runaway Train.

Wow! Love "Mood Monday", "Solid Gold" and "Like I Used To". I'm not a fan of most of the Tribe versions of the songs that made it onto the Life version however. The reworked versions are far superior.
