This one I honestly expected everything to work fine. I worked for Best Buy's Geek Squad back in 2005 and they already had their "Open Box" items back then. Everything they sell has to get inspected and verified (at my store it was us Geek Squad workers responsible to do it) before it can be resold as Open Box. The packaging never looks that great since customers have already opened it, sometimes tearing the box/cardboard, but the devices that are sold Open Box always have to work.
