I live in a 2 bedroom all utilities included with a balcony for under $1300, I live in a great area. I think they are revitalizing downtown but the pricing for the amount of space is way too high. Good luck!

I live in apartment like in video, Smith Lofts , and price is 1300. And most of such apartments under 1500. So these in his video are tooo way expensive, i don’t know where he found them 😂

Nice apt, but man the price is outragious, i live downtown winnipgeg, my rent is 550 mind u i live in a bachelor suite and i live alone, my pension would not cover a room in those apts lol

DAMN, I have been living in the exchange for 5 years the rents are insane in these new buildings. I pay nowhere near that and my building is only 8 years old

great video! I am just not into living in downtown Winnipeg anymore. There's just too many drunkards and aggressive people loitering the streets. I tried living there for one year so I can just walk to my work but I needed to move farther out just so I feel safer. Can't even enjoy walking around and there's nothing to go to anymore after COVID. Stay safe!
Hmm I feel you. Can’t lie tho, I feel like it’s low key getting better. A lot of new stuff opening up recently. And depending on the area especially the exchange is so cool and feels safe, but maybe that’s just me haha

I mostly book directly with the apt, either through their website or I phone

3 beds are rare downtown but you could find some in the south side, I’m really not sure how much they’d be. I’d keep that in mind to tour for my next apt hunt video

These are apartments would be 3500 -3700 in Calgary . I pay 1800 for an okay place with one bedroom and those apartmemts are huge . The new builds are 475 sq ft and run 2100 downtown

That's right. Everyone has to walk around with weights around their waist or they'll get blown away.
And the mosquitoes are so big in the summer, they can pick you up!
And the winters are so brutally cold, that people live in igloos and can't go anywhere during the winter, or they can literally freeze to death in seconds - or get eaten up by the big white polar bears roaming the streets during the winter.

very cool, i love this, but i think you need to provide a more honest concept.... as much as oooooo ahhhh fancy shiny... you're not portraying the true methdup winnipeg. like yes these EXPENSIVE apartments that no one can afford, unless your making good bank.... most of the economy isn't. the apartments that is 90% of Winnipeg are crackdens... youre showing luxury for sure, as someone whose traveled and lived in Winnipeg most of there life... your showing a cheap diamond in a rough cut. winnipeg is a dump you cant go out almost a single street, without there being trash needles or someone aggressive making a gesture at you. these apartments are fake compared to what winnipeg is.. you show the outside and it shows clear as day. love the video though!

Considering you’ve lived here your whole life you should at least love the city or say good things about it. You could easily move too if you hate it so much as it sounds haha.
