W/s. Thank you so much. I follow your all videos and it helps me alot in my studies as i am student of Electrical Engineering. Thank you for doing struggle for us.
Sir, your programming videos are very helpful. As a beginner, I would like to ask you how to perform dynamic/ 24 hour optimal power flow using Matlab programming?
Ws, very informative, also regularly follow your videos, i have a question sir, em using power world simulator, so which electrical software is best among all, for PHD research (in power engineering), i want to work on it.
Thanks for the compliments. It depends upon the topic in which you are going to do PhD. Generally MATLAB, PSCAD, digsilent, etap, power world simulator software are good.
Dear Dr. J. A. LAGHARI, how to add a method / solver that is not in the matpower menu, for example such as the particle swarm optimization (PSO) method or other methods? thank you
Have you worked on doing optimal power flow using semidefinite programming? It is also in matpower but haven't seen any tutorial that shows the formulation of its matrices and complete process.
@@DrJALAGHARI it is in extras folder in matpower, you can run it using command 'runsdpopf', but you have to install yalmip and sdpt3 in matlab for running that command (loading the case from matpower and selecting yalmip directory), basically it is convexifying the non linear opf problem and finding global optimal value
Thanks for the comment. the pdf is provided in the form of link in the description section of this video with its source. you can download it from there. or simply email to jalgahri1@gmail.com, it will be send to you.
Sir in generator data after ramp_agc the other parameters you have not included please you could help with the other parameters it would be really helpful for me.
sir, first of all very thankyou for this lecture...sir, the .m file could not be opened. coud you please send the .m attachment file with that RAR file...I hope you understand and if you provide it for me, it will be very helpful for me for my further studies. Thank you sir.

@@janardhanreddy.b8268 Right. I think IEEE 30 bus data is given in hadi sadat book. Whereas other IEEE system data may be found in research papers. You have to search separately.
Dear Dr. J. A. LAGHARI, How can be added emission calculations or valve point formulation to the objective function of optimal power flow in MATPOWER ? I would be very grateful if you could provide information on this subject. Thanks for now.
Thanks for the comment. I have shown basic opf in MATPOWER toolbox. However, matpower toolbox is very powerful. You can easily perform all these tasks just by putting the equation. For this purpose, you have to read the matpower toolbox pdf to understand and modify the program.

Very informative, to the point explanation.

can we get visual results from power flow analysis?
Thanks for the comment. Yes. But for that you have to plot those results.
Thank you sir!
Helps a lot!

Dear Dr. J. A. LAGHARI,
how to add a method / solver that is not in the matpower menu, for example such as the particle swarm optimization (PSO) method or other methods?
thank you
Thanks for the comment. I think you may add the solver manually. Out thr the pso algorithm in the MATPOWER folder then manually call that function.
Thank you, brother.
Most welcome

Thanks for the comment. The data is taken from the book as mentioned in the video. Rest of the data is included in the matpower function by itself.
Which book you have used ?

Please take ieee 33 bus radiap distribution system for optimal power flow in matpower, if you have any data would you plz share?
