Yes but there's clearly CGI involved as well, it's not all real dog reactions which is kind of pathetic that they can't even make movies anymore these day about animals without manipulation instead of only the real thing. Movies in the past were so much better for that reason too.

I cried so much seeing this love and since I got my boy Finnley…. I sing this to him. He has rescued my soul and I love him everyday for it. He is so pure and kind. A dog will always love you no matter what as long as you deliver kindness as well. I’d die for him because he’s that good of a boy. He is just so happy everyday and wants to love everything. It says a lot about dogs because for us life wears you out, and he has been a reminder of how life is great and a chance to live.

Watching Haichi reminds me of my Boarder Collie and our walks together. When he started aging the walks became shorter and less often. But in November of 2017 he would always want me to walk him which I thought was strange. Well during one night I started to feel this pain like heart burn. With each walk I would feel this same tightness. Now I also exercise on a stair climber and had no pain. But to be safe I went to the doctor and they ran an EKG and it was normal. I started taking over the counter heartburn meds and felt better on our walks. As days went on my dog kept wanting to walk him in the evening then one night the tightness came back. Decided to do a stress test and before beginning the Cardiologist noticed I didn't look right so he ordered an angiogram. Well I had 95% blockage in one artery. Had a stint put in and returned home after spending a day at the hospital. Come home my dog sees me but does not get up to greet me. Strange for 10 years he always got excited to see me. 1 month later we had to put him to sleep (Cancer). I am convinced he knew what I was dealing with and saved my life.

I cried so much seeing this love and since I got my boy Finnley…. I sing this to him. He has rescued my soul and I love him everyday for it. He is so pure and kind. A dog will always love you no matter what as long as you deliver kindness as well. I’d die for him because he’s that good of a boy. He is just so happy everyday and wants to love everything. It says a lot about dogs because for us life wears you out, and he has been a reminder of how life is great and a chance to live.
This movie made me cry like a baby, especially when I find out it’s based on true story.

I had a dog just like him, she was always waiting for me at my bus stop and always bring me there in the morning, sometimes she even wanted to pop.up in the bus, I had her since I was 4 years old, she died when I was 10, I remember that I cried for days, sad for months, when I was 11 they gave me one of her grandchildren, a male and he's just like his grandmother, now I'm 17 and I still miss her a lot, sometimes when I talk about her I still cried

Watching Haichi reminds me of my Boarder Collie and our walks together. When he started aging the walks became shorter and less often. But in November of 2017 he would always want me to walk him which I thought was strange. Well during one night I started to feel this pain like heart burn. With each walk I would feel this same tightness. Now I also exercise on a stair climber and had no pain. But to be safe I went to the doctor and they ran an EKG and it was normal. I started taking over the counter heartburn meds and felt better on our walks. As days went on my dog kept wanting to walk him in the evening then one night the tightness came back. Decided to do a stress test and before beginning the Cardiologist noticed I didn't look right so he ordered an angiogram. Well I had 95% blockage in one artery. Had a stint put in and returned home after spending a day at the hospital. Come home my dog sees me but does not get up to greet me. Strange for 10 years he always got excited to see me. 1 month later we had to put him to sleep (Cancer). I am convinced he knew what I was dealing with and saved my life.
