We sailed two Carnival ships in '23 - the Celebration in May, and this ship in October '23. I wouldn't talk anyone out of the Celebration, but the Miracle is a great experience. We loved it, even with our itinerary being changed literally the day of sailing (we were supposed to get two days in Cabo, but that got cancelled due to weather and we ended up going to San Diego and Catalina instead). The only thing we really missed, looking back, was the hibachi dining option Carnival has on larger ships; the Miracle is a fun, kitchy, mellow place to spend a few days at sea. We're sailing the Miracle's sister ship, Pride, in February, and can't wait. Sometimes bigger ain't always better.

I usually like to try to compare the aesthetic of ships to a notable Vegas casino resort (I’ve probably visited Vegas 70+ times over the thirty plus years I’ve lived in San Diego so I’m somewhat of a connoisseur of semi-tacky large scale architecture and aesthetics!)…this reminds me of one of the nicer old Fremont Street resorts, like the Golden Nugget! Noticeably smaller than the norm and a bit oddly themed but still Quite Classy!

Going on this ship in Europe 2025- is there an actual Lido deck like other carnival ships I’ve been on? Just wondering because I have a 20 and 15 year old going and Lido deck is their favorite. This ship looks amazing to me! I’ve been on Mardi Gras and everything in between. Miracle seems small but luxurious :)
Go check out the oasis class on Royal Caribbean! They have dedicated separate non-smoking casinos. Celebrity doesn't allow smoking in its casinos, either.
This ship is absolutely horrendous. Very informative video but this ship is not for me at all. The colours give me a headache. Does not come across well on video at all. I think this ship needs a major update. What is with all the tacky pillar things? Yuck
