This is SUCH helpful information for me, especially details about tightly packed kilns, slow and fast cooling rates, all those clay bodies to look at and really show the glaze behavior. Thank you!
Hi! Great video & so helpful, i got the sampler pack and hope to have some pieces fired soon. One question though, what is the difference between the "brown" and the "black" clays, is it an Iron vs Manganese issue? Trying to figure out where my clay body would fit...
Stoneware is a form of midfire clay. You can use it on many different kinds of clays but these are midrange glazes, so you can't use it on low-fire clays.
These videos are so helpful for newer potters

Sand Dollar is what I would call a satin finish. Thank you for the demo, I love them all!😍
This video format and presentation is the best on the internet. Please use this for all future glaze reviews
The banner at the top listing details about each glaze is very helpful. Thank you!
Great colors
Great tutorial. Thank you so much!
definitely helpful to me, thanks.
thanks Todd!
I’m surprised at the huge difference between brown and black clay. Both being dark I would think they wouldn’t be that different
Adorei ❤
Sand dollar and rose quartz are really nice. Certainly in reduction.

I'm new to pottery, can these only be used on stoneware clay, or can they be used on mid-fire too?
