I also experienced a surprise pregnancy at 5 months post partum. I totally feel everything you’ve been saying where it took some time to process and get excited. He’s now 18 months old and not any less loved or cherished, he is the best thing we didn’t know we needed! Congratulations! Been following since you lived in Canada 😊.

Thanks for sharing so openly. I had a surprise pregnancy as well and understand how difficult the mental side of it can be. I got pregnant with our 4th when our 3rd baby was just 6 months old and I remember just coming down the stairs with tears streaming down my face after getting the positive test result. I had no idea how I was going to manage 4 kids 5 and under and 2 being under 2. My husband was so supportive and told me it was going to be ok and we would make it work. It took me awhile to come around to it and I felt so guilty about that. But I eventually got excited for her and now I can’t imagine our family without her. There are days that are pure chaos but there is also so much love in our family that it’s all worth it. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly and thanks again for your honesty in sharing! I think it will be so helpful for people who may find themselves in a similar position so that they don’t feel so alone. ❤

This was just so pleasant to watch/listen to. I definitely was inspired by your other birth vlogs and thought of them as I prepared to have my first in son January 2023 and had an unmedicated hospital birth. I find myself inspired by you again to practice more healthy lifestyle habits and see what a difference it can make. So appreciate your candor and authenticity. Oh my! I have a six month old sleeping here in my arms. My first and very much planned, prayed for and welcome. Yet I had a hard time managing my feelings during pregnancy, I didn’t feel excited until the last couple of weeks before her arrival. But wow, what a blessing she is. I’ve been following you for such a long time!! I have three kids and my first two are “A” names. Everyone thought our third would also have an “A” name but we never planned on having all A’s. 😂 Our third and final baby’s name is Jude. He is the perfect cherry on top of our family. The name Jude means “praise” 🤍
For a girl name I love Marigold, and for a boy I love Jude!
Our other two are Ava and Asher and of course I love and recommend those names as well.

Elanna do you have advice on where to start on exercise? I’m 15 weeks pregnant with my second, and I feel so weak! I haven’t been exercising at all and I’m not sure where to start to build up some strength for the rest of the pregnancy as well as postpartum.
I would start with some light Pilates! I also wouldn’t want to suggest the wrong thing because I had my workout routine prior to getting pregnant so I think starting of slow would be good! X

Nope! Just in our bedroom as the natural light is best there. Paddy has a home office as he’s on the laptop more than I would be but going to sort out a filming office for me this spring 🙌🏻

Oh Elanna, your honesty is SO unbelievably refreshing! 🥹 I had my first baby at 23, my second at 26 and at 31 I had a scare. I was really late and I was panicked. Honestly, complete panic. But it turned out to be just a scare. But do you know what? I still think about that moment and I think what if things had been different but that was not in our plans. I believe that God has a plan for us all, and this is yours ❤️ much love xxx
