This layout is just terrific, astonishing in the depth and detail of design and execution. I understand now why you weren't that interested in building yourself a layout, being plenty busy with this one--and now that this is done, why you're ready to start your own. The rockwork is some of the best I've ever seen. If you are responsible for that, I can't wait to see how you do it on your own layout.
This layout uses a lot of clever theatrics to give it a busy look. The mirror trick is very good especially since it is so large! Night time is grand! Picked up by camera well! Not too many people do a night layout but this looks fantastic. Got to say the workshop is such an envy for anyone to have, lots of room and clean!👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Jason, that certainly is a very unique layout. You two are to be congratulated on it. The amount of thought that went into it, and the efforts to bring it to fruition are obvious. Thanks for sharing it with us. See ya next time.
Thank you so much Norman, I really appreciate it!!! This was a dream project for me, I have absolutely loved it. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. See you next time!
Jason this is a really wonderful layout with tons of unique detail. I am sure yall spent hours in planning. All your efforts turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Dear Jason, I have recently become interested in wooden structure for my layout. I've been reviewing your RUclips videos all weekend. Get all the compliments, fantastic job. Ran from Israel.
You demonstrate some serious creativity and problem solving abilities, whereas I can't even bang a nail without making a hammer bend it. Maybe a future expansion for the city might include an airport and and a lower level underground section for subway traffic.
Jason, first off, where to start??? I must say I think the station shown at 4:07 is stunning. I assume its a bash or scratch build. The trees are fantastic. I cant help but notice the isle spacing, looks very roomy and easy to move around. The overall scene reminds me of the style of Layout that Howard Zane has built. Huge vistas that just seem to go on and on. Seeing skyscrapers on a ho model layout is extremely rare. The night scenes pack a huge punch, really looks like a big busy city. Thanks for the tour
Jason Sir, when You have a chance please let me know what type of wood strips You might suggest me for building a wood fence, just like the ones You have built in your most relevant structures, like for example , The Pendleton Marine, but in O scale, since you mostly build in ho scale. Which ones should I order from North Eastern Scale Lumber, because I'm confused with all the different kinds of wood strips they offer, and I want to order the Right ones for O scale! I understand my request is kind of, outlandish, but I would like to learn these little details from someone with Your experience in the hobby. And also remember my last inquiry about the subway you plan to build for Your layout! Keep Up Your Great Work! RR
Hi Jason. Please excuse me if you discussed it, but how did you create your rock work? I know in the section you cut out of the wall you mentioned you carved that section out of foam. Is this true for the entire layout?
Thank you so much for watching!!! A lot of the mountains are plaster cheese cloth with scultimold over it. I also hand carved some of the rock work out of insulation foam.
Just Amazing .....How do you find time for all this work your doing .....please !! dont tell me :-) ....Thanks for sharing so great videos...Greetings from Norway
Beautiful layout, but was disappointed in that it really did not focus much on the 'city' aspect. Just what one saw in passing shots. It was only the title that made me watch it.
Thank you for sharing JJT, Peter's layout is absolutely out standing, so much detail, so much to look at and trickery. I wanted to ask, it all looks pretty set up and finished but is there still a restless moment where Peter feels something needs to be changed or added?
That is a awesome site scene! Now! He needs to get a few thousand people, walking sholder to sholder, and place them down town, and a few hundred more for the suburb?????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Not being critical, just funnin!

Wish you would have gotten a closeup of the monument

Thank you so much Alex!!! Peter is pretty much done with the layout. He just spends his days operating it. Thanks for watching!
