I picked up a few Bob Reeves Purviance mouthpieces. 9A, 9F, and 9 How can I tell if they are orginal and not made later. I also have a Jermone callet V.F DT 7 if you have any info about that one I would appreciate it. Thanks
Greetings, Edward. If it's a Reeves/Purviance, then it's made by Bob. He still uses the Purviance backbore, but I think his mouthpieces are much more consistent than the original Purviance, from what I understand. I think he learned from Carol P., so the Reeves/Purviance are very fine pieces. I have a few, I've never had the original Purviance though.
