Jordan has had something to say about every single player in NBA history. It’s clear to me that of the players that followed Mike, he respected Kobe and AI the most.
Jordan is especial because he has physical gift that Kobe don't have that's what edge him the most he knows that if Kobe has the same athleticism like Carter or Mcgrady Kobe will be the GOAT
Watched Kobe since I was 5 years old. He was my childhood hero. I turn 28 this year. still can’t believe he’s gone. RIP 🐐 I still remember and I’ll tell my kids how great Kobe Bryant was
These ninjas just hate that Bron came in with all that hype and still ended up lapping the field. They can't stand it. Its a done deal. Lebron is legendary, one of the greatest athletes this country has ever produced.
@alexcastillo6830 everything needs to be considered man... And everything weighs differently. Championships, MVP, and FMVP as the highest metrics (weighs the most compared to another metrics). Then a notch below that are probably all-nba 1st team, all-defensive teams, winning impact, cultural & economical impact, DPOY award. Then a notch below that are probably all-time stats (every players have their own arguments for this department like Lebron with his total all-time points but Stockton got steals & assists for example, Steph the most efficient in terms of true shooting and effective fg percentage amongst the top 50 scorers of all time), all-stars appearance, all-nba nods in total. A notch below that there are things like all-stars game mvp, 50-40-90 season perhaps (with other additional stuffs or details that one player has to support their argument). It's hard to formulate this thing but you got the idea. You gotta consider it all and not just pick n choose things that favor your fav players. There are still things like Players of the Month and Weeks awards, Clutch Player of the yr award (you can use a player's clutch fg percentage for players who played before that award existed), playoffs wins rate (tho one could include this as a part of that winning impact thing), playoffs ppg, finals ppg, scoring champ. But I think Im solid when saying that one should regard championships, mvp, and fmvp as the main metrics for one's legacy amongst these all-time greats. Probably with that all-nba 1st team award. These things are for me the ultimate separator that separates a the greats amongst their peers.
@jrsmith3238 that’s why lebron is 2nd all time, Kobe lost in the finals also. But bron is ahead of Kobe because has done more as a number 1 option never been a number 2. Won 4 chips as the main focal point to Kobe’s 2 rings as the focal point. Along with lebrons 4 FMVPs to Kobe’s 2 FMVPS. Along with lebrons 4 MVPS to Kobe’s 1 mvp. I can say more things that support lebron without ever mentioning the longevity also
cherrbuggin and braindead if you think he’s being ridiculous. dude’s spitting exactly what i’ve always felt on the matter, and nick young summarized it perfectly too-if jordan’s the goat, then the remix of jordan is still the next best thing point blank period. But media and bron’s PR knew stephen a’s point stands, that it’s a 1A/1B situation with MJ and Kobe and there can be no debate there because Jordan will always be first because he came first and dominated an expansion league. So what did they do? center the question around two completely different players so now you can talk endlessly about it by skewing what the goalposts are. Jordan vs LeBron. An actual basketball player vs a genetic freak with longevity and health carrying the conversation. Sure, the latter should be and is applauded and celebrated, but then this goes to the politics stephen a was tryna spin-sure lebron can get us there because he is great let’s not deny that, but please someone else take us home for God’s sake cause it sure as ** isn’t lebron.
Every single person in the top 10 has been to the finals a whole effton of times, so why is bron the only one with a losing record in the finals? and im even including the mickey mouse championship here. that’s yall’s goat? that’s what you want the greatest representation of the sport to be? the biggest loser of the bunch, but at least he’s a dude that stayed healthy and played for longer and accumulated more total stats, but he just couldn’t catch up in championships won in all that time while hopping from ready-made team to ready-made team? congrats! you beat up on a weak east. you were supposed to, as an all time great, soo you want a cookie for that? I mean, reem been to the same amount of finals as bron, has more wins than bron. we don’t give curry the love he deserves for winning 4 of them thangs no mickey while overcoming a bloody effing western conference. or kobe’s infinitely more impressive wins out in the western conference en route to 5 of them thangs. The whole ish is manufactured and you eat that ish up and think you have an original opinion or that it’s your own opinion for that matter. eye test clears every effing time, so put down the stat sheets, put down the subjective af media voted on awards.
Im sad because rashad is right-there’s no one to speak up on kobe’s behalf to the younger generation of fans that never watched him. And because of that the narrative has swung wildly online after his death. so then gil also has a valid point in, how are they supposed to dissect it without the stat sheet because they never will watch him. that’s all they have to go off of. and even highlights will never paint the whole picture. and it’s not the youth’s fault for wanting to participate in the fun conversation. but then that’s the problem. it’s easier when watching someone. kerr ain’t the better 3pt shooter because his % says so. you watched curry play. however, then the opposite is in-line with this thinking, people then don’t appreciate what a marksman, for example, bird was if they never watched him live, which was gil’s problem, and why he had to question stephen a on that. So these fans think they know it all and have it all figured out cause they look at kobe’s fg% or whatever metric they use to discredit him, but then use the same stat to prop up lebron, right? most bricks in nba history. if you wanna use longevity then you cant have your cake and eat it too. except lebron fans make it so he does but no other all time great can. it’s shot, man. listen to rashad, he’s right. and I’ll appreciate that stephen a can concede bron ain’t clutch and kobe is in his top 5.
Like Nick young said, how in the world do they say Kobe is THE CLOSEST to Jordan, and then in the same breath, they put other people above him in rankings. Thats the dumbest thing ever. The only person im ok with people ranking above Kobe is Jordan.
@Kbst2421 cool i'm glad you not a alien but that's ya problem "what you seen" it's not about you.. reason why i'm glad ya opinion doesn't matter cause it's guys you never seen that were actually great and greater than kobe
I seen an interview with Kobe and he said, Jordan showed me too many things for me to ever think I’m better than him. End of day Kobe was the most competitive player ever when It came to basketball. My Opinion, Kobe is either #2 or 3 all time. RIP MAMBA!!
@TheGuillotineKing you don't gotta be disrespectful but at the same time keep the same energy. Ya boi was itching to get Stephen on the show, where's that same pulse? I'm just super sayin.
@lowkeyIbes cherrbuggin and braindead if you can’t follow the conversation. dude’s spitting exactly what i’ve always felt on the matter, and nick young summarized it perfectly too-if jordan’s the goat, then the remix of jordan is still the next best thing point blank period. The only reason Kobe doesn’t have more MVPs is because of the case he caught back in the day everybody knows that I don’t know why they try to act like it didn’t happen so many MVPs were stolen from that man because of politics and he still ended up winning 2 more rings and going 3 straight finals and they act like they didn’t void a trade from Chris Paul going to the Lakers
Where does he win MVP if he doesn’t rape that woman? ‘04 - The same season where he missed 10+ games because of the case? Averaged 24/5/5 on 44/33/85 whilst KG had the better overall season, KG for that season was *the* premier best player that season. ‘05 - Averaged 28/6/6 on 43/34/82 whilst going 35 - 47. ‘06 - was the most hotly contested MVP race of the decade, five seperate players could have won that season but Kobe averaged 35/5/4 on 45/34/87 so people feel he should have not only won, but should have won unanimously whilst being the 7th seed.
@Rambo20244 I don’t see him having a better season than Hakeem in ‘94 or David Robinson in ‘95. Additionally, I don’t see the Bulls winning any more championships after ‘98.
@Kap_NYC well that's only your beliefs... but we don't know how it would have played out... jordan retired in his prime bruh and won mvp after his prime
@Rambo20244 I understand where you’re coming from, I really do. But unless Jordan averages 35 and more than 5 rebounds and assists with 2+ stocks then I don’t see him beating either player for MVP if they put up the exact numbers if Jordan played those two seasons.
They knock Kobe from the conversation because he may have 5, but only 2 were really because of him. The other 3 had Shaq and, whether fairly or unfairly, they knock him for that. But no he’s not in the GOAT conversation unfortunately
@ I did a defensive calculation with it, Curry is not above Kobe in metrics don’t put words in my mouth. But yes Jokic is a better all-around player than Giannis and his stats speak for itself
Kobe hit 36 game winners over his career. They be confusing game winners as just buzzer beaters. if you hit the last shot then yall lock up, that shot you hit was just as clutch as the buzzer beater you just locked up, lol.
I have never been more frustrated! Kobe has a better percentages in the final 2 minutes of 4th quarters in the playoffs than Lebron and Kobe has more game winners, 36 compared to Lebron's 19! Lebron is also a -86 in the finals compared to Kobe who is a +36! Kobe's more clutch.
well this is just a special segment because stephen A is a rare guest, its not like you will see him once a week or a month, Stephen A might return here next few years or none at all
Barkley? That’s ur source? That crew has admitted to not watching the games. Like seriously? Same guy who said Lu Dort was gonna shut down Luka? Riddle me this, how Barkley works in media, but tryna diss ESPN for talking about the most popular basketball team in the world.
My problem with Rashad when it comes to this is how he comes off. When I listen to him talk, it’s sometimes as if he feels like because Kobe passed, nobody should ever be able to be put in front of him. And to me, that’s utterly ridiculous.
@WHATTEASAID cherrbuggin and braindead if you think he’s being ridiculous. dude’s spitting exactly what i’ve always felt on the matter, and nick young summarized it perfectly too-if jordan’s the goat, then the remix of jordan is still the next best thing point blank period. This is what's wild we listening to Rashad talk about the game you notice it's nothing off the court you can say the same about Jordan but not Karem, it's amazing the overlooking what Karem meant to soecity not just the game which is why most people have issue with Kobe Bryant he was a hooper great but wasn't creating any platforms for the grater good of the black community.
05-08 Kobe and 16-18 Lebron are the two best players I have personally ever watched in my life. That’s when the skill, IQ and athleticism met each other and they were absolute freaks of nature in each category.
So NBA Champion Kobe of 09 and 10 wasn't the best player you ever watched in real life? You can't be serious my guy...it's more like 05-10 Kobe was the best player you ever saw. And it's the reason why Lebron ran to Miami to join Wade. LeBron had no rings when Kobe won his fifth ring and Wade only had one ring before LeBron joined him in Miami. Make it make sense! 😂
@duranofficial82Kobe had lost some physical athleticism by 09-10 as he was pushing mid 30s. His physical peak in 05-07 was a perfect mixture of Frobe 8 and Mamba 24
@Jm3rv i understand your point but real talk there was no better Kobe than the 09-10 Kobe mentally. Mamba Mentality was clearly the 09-10 Kobe hands down and he could not be stopped. The only thing that stopped Kobe was injuries, father time and the super hate from the Lebron Glazing media to get rid of Kobe so they could catapult Lebron to GOAT status!
@TheLeVernisPodcast The fact your emotions just let you type that is CRAZY 😂😂 Iverson & T Mac LOOKED better than everybody but are they considered the GOAT.. THINK BROTHER THINK 😂
The difference is Kobe was already retired. 2Pac and Biggie were in their middle of their careers and were dictating how music would progress going onwards. So no, Kobe is not sanctified. But his cult-like fans are truly alive and well. Just like MJ cult fans.
That’s so true what the dude with the trenches jacket is saying! I’ve seen Kobe hit soooo many clutch shots and these dudes trynna tell me LeBron more clutch ??! Nahh
Rachaad is a typical pro Kobe or mj fan. Nothing wrong with those guys being your personal favorite or your “goat”, but these fans are so hypocritical and dumb it’s crazy….also the LeBron not being clutch debate is so stupid….
Gilbert, that’s a bad take at 11:00. Every free throw is shot from the same distance and shot uncontested whereas Kobe was having to put up game winners over multiple people. Most of the time LeBron’s game winners were layups until later in his career outside of the three-pointer versus the magic in the playoffs.
Lol. Who cares if the game winner was a dunk or layup or a middy or a 3 🤣🤣🤣 as long as the shot went in and they won... Honestly kobe and LeBron fans are on the same level of delusion...
T Mac, D.Wade, AI and even Gilbert Arenas were just as good to me. I always thought Kobe was a volume scorer. I just don't see the greatness every one is talking about. I even saw Stephon Marbury outplay him head up and give him 50. Gilbert Arenas gave him 60.
@tomjones6630 they were amazing, amazing legends indeed.. But they were a few levels below.. Bcs of defense, deeper skill set, sacrifices, mentality, willing to work harder than anyone whoever stepped on that court. But if you want to see what most people see in Kobe, I suggest you to see his highlights.. Not top 10s like everybody sees, watch him play.. There are many big games highlights from him, you'll understand 💯 no need to downplay no legend, but look it up..
@nxllson I am older than Kobe and was fortunate enough to see his whole career. I am a Boxscore guy that reads Box scoreas daily. He was a volume scorer. In his last game where he scored 60 pts he shot 22/50. Give T Mac, Arenas or Dwade 50 shots in a game and they will have comparable stats. Type Steph Marbury vs Kobe and watch Steph outscore him as well. I would be the GM that would pass him up for other talent that doesn't get the media attention. He was the closest to Jordan as far as moves but that's about it to me. TMAC was a beast. Work ethic and intangibles don't mean as much as to me as talent.
Tom Jones obvious u don't know basketball y dont u go shoot 50 shots in a single game an see how it go if u think it's easy as 1 2 3 let me tell u u hv to be a BOSS to shoot 50 shots in one game
Btw, in terms of Gil’s free throw percentage argument, if a guy has a better percentage over a long period of time but misses free throws at the end of the game when it’s a close game, no one would argue that person is a great free throw shooter.
I respectfully disagree. It doesn’t matter when you hit or miss them it still counts the same. How can you say someone is a worse FT shooter when they made more?
@Illhostility Sure. He still made a lot of FT. So missing late is different than missing earlier in the game? Last time I check a FT still counts the same.
End the discussion by asking this question.. When they were teammates during the Olympic Gold Medal game, who was taking the clutch shots? Who did the TEAM defer the ball to? That's right, Kobe. 🐍🏅
@brianslaw7804 that really does nothing to end the discussion in a lot of people's eyes. They are still gonna say LeBron has the most clutch shots in the NBA playoffs.
Which is the dumbest most braindead argument ever since Jordan wasn’t even a top 2 player on the dream team so wheres that argument at? Kobe is a scorer that’s all he does and can do LeBron is a playmaker AND a scorer he can do both when needed. Unlike Kobe is lebron is not selfish if he needs to defer then he’ll defer because you know that’s what teammates do. If LeBron had tried to take over the game and they lost then you guys change the narrative. I know Kobe fans are some of the dumbest most casual fans out there but cmon be smart than this clown lol
@JohnWick-qr4yc Kobe didn't pass in the clutch? You don't remember his clutch alley oop to Shaq? His pass to Ron Artest for the game winning 3 in the finals? His numerous passes to Derek Fisher for clutch buckets, Steve Blake, Gasol, Ariza, etc. You can argue Lebron's playmaking and scoring is equivalent to Kobe's playmaking and scoring, since they were both better at one aspect than the other. Let's not minimize the fact that these 2 guys can do both things.
The world knew once Kobe came back from that injury he was not gonna catch Mj. Had he not got injured playing with Dwight and Nash and got the chance to finish his career healthy, Bron would’ve been breaking Kobe’s scoring record and Kobe might’ve gotten 6.
Man I remember Charles Barkley praising Kobe after a game saying this kid is the best I ever seen that was before the gasol Lakers now it's all disrespect
Kobe knew we paid thousands of dollars to see him play. He put on a show and went for the crazy scoring numbers, was supposed to be in the 3 point contest but got replaced due to injury, dunk contest champion, etc. Jordan was the same and as a fan, I appreciate that way more. There is a reason why the NBA viewership has tanked and it's because the players care way more about their stats and money vs what the fans want to see. The traveling and flopping for free throws has made the NBA unwatchable. There isn't a single player that really cares anymore.
I don't have a problem with people saying Bron is better than Kobe. I just don't like how they were legit calling Kobe the best to do it or he just as good as MJ in 2010. You can pull up audio/video. Now it's he was never in the conversation and to me that is crazy. People be acting like Kobe was Ray Allen or something now lol. respect to Ray he a dawg.
I remember watching nba tv and they the commissioner david stern about kobe bryant goat status and the commissioner rank kobe up there with bill Russell and Michael Jordan but ever since klutch sports arrived for some reason he's not even a top ten let alone top 5
@jimmycharlotin7050 or this is a crazy suggestion David Stern is dead, Adam Silver is the commissioner, and a lot of basketball has happened since that quote lol. At one point Jordan wasn't in the discussion, then more basketball got played.
Buzzer beaters is one thing. But kobe would take over games and win when the lakers were losing. So many crazy come back games. Thats the definition of clutch
They’re trying to erase history like we weren’t there watching with our own eyes. Had every kid biting their jersey in the park and sht because of what he was doing in crunch time but now we’re meant to look at percentages 😂
Kobe was my childhood hero he will always be the best off all time I remember watchin him and then talkin about it with my friends on the bus to school good memories
It's crazy how Kobe gets disrespected smh..... it's really not good for basketball or for sports debate. NBA players find that shit extremely disrespectful
When did you start watching ball? No one that knows basketball or watched greatness from My NBA player had him top 15 unless you were the media and Bleacher report writer.
How is Kobe disrespected????? He is not better than MJ. You can't emulate a man's game, then tell me you're better than him. and come up with a championship less than MJ. Never. Kobe is top 5 all time and he is definitely over LBJ. But MJ no no! 😂. Kobe lost 2 championships. This isn't one on one and even with that. I still couldn't give it to MJ. But that would be the greatest 1 and 1 we would ever see my opinion. Nah ya need to go back and see what Kobe said about MJ.
@jamessanders5020 dude... if I have to explain it to you means you simply dont watch basketball.... There are many NBA players who have Kobe as the GOAT. Lemme break it down for you. Kobe is top 5 in points. Kobe is top 3 in All NBA 1st team Kobe is top 2 in all NBA defensive 1st team Kobe is top 2 in all star appearances Kobe is top 3 in all NBA defenses Kobe is top 3 in most skilled Kobe has 5 Rings in 7 finals appearances Kobe has multiple Rings without another top 75 player on his team. Only Curry can say that. Kobe averaged 29 ppg playing alongside a prime SHAQ. So there is absolutely no way he should be left out the top 5. It's ok to have MJ over him. But besides MJ it's an argument with any other player. Even Kareem. Kobe is top 5 in so many NBA categories that its ridiculous to say hes borderline top ten smh. Most NBA players have MJ 1 A. And Kobe 1 B
@jamessanders5020 if I have to explain it to you means you dont know basketball. Many NBA players have Kobe as their GOAT. Lemme break it down for you rookie. Kobe is top 5 in points Kobe is top 2 in all star appearances Kobe in 1st in all NBA 1st team defenses Kobe is top 2 in all NBA offenses Kobe is top 3 in total all NBA defensive selections Kobe is top 3 in playoff points Kobe is top 2 as the most skilled ever Kobe has multiple Rings without another all star or top 75 player on the team. Only steph curry can say that. Kobe averaged 29 ppg in the toughest era playing alongside a Prime Shaq. Period So with Kobe being top 5 in so many important statistical categories... its impossible to say he isnt at the very least in the top 5. Other than MJ. There is no one u can say is undoubtedly over Kobe Bryant. Many player have MJ 1A Kobe 1B
Kobe way more skilled stop it it's y'all mj and lbj fans only y'all shit on everybody MN sAid Kobe the only one who can match him and I'ma take his word over y'all goofys anyday
Truth we became more sensitive to any Kobe criticism after his death. Every argument people use for why he ain’t the goat existed most of his career. “Carried by Shaq” “inefficient” “bad teammate” “didn’t start early in his career”
It's the truth, Kobe first few years on the Lakers he's just a bench, not even 20ppg player in his rookie years. Shaq in those 3 championship is clearly the best player that time. When they formed superteam on Lakers and got beaten by Pistons in the finals, they I knew Kobe still far from being best player on his team. In last 2 championship Lakers is stacked up so hard that even Kobe cannot make his shots. Chucking up shots instead of passing clearly he's blessed with roster championship
@Arnzez-z7r that's why the bronny criticism does not make sense, if got people like kobe who came off the bench his 1st three years, why is bronny getting criticism is his rookie season
Kobe is still the youngest player drafted/to play in a NBA game and youngest All Star in league history Del Harris Lakers HC from 96-98 on Kobe “Teenagers do not belong in the NBA” Imagine Cavs HC saying Lebron didn’t belong in the NBA in 2003 that’s what Kobe dealt with If Kobe was drafted by Charlotte given free reign he would been avg 25PPG+ by his 2nd season just watch the 1998 All Star game
@davis2k1234 I’m not arguing Kobe ain’t in the goat discussion. Just debunking this lie that the Kobe criticism started after his death Kobe last 2 rings his biggest motivation was debunking the criticism. You can’t do it without shaq, ball hog, bad teammate etc
That is why Gil can out debate McCants. They know Rashad goes off emotions vs facts. Rashad gos off moments as if the moments won't translate to statistics 😂.
@Tonybakerjr Crazy thing isssss Rashad said game winning buzzer beaters is the most clutch thing u can do and LeBron has the most in playoff history & Kobe only has one lol… Dude just be talking for voice box exercise lol
3:52 - “That’s where you let emotions get into the mix.” When you’re talking about the GOAT, emotion should be part of it. Greatness isn’t just stats-it’s inspiration, impact, and legacy on a global scale. Kobe won 5 championships, 2 Olympic golds, made 9 All-Defensive First Teams, passed MJ in total points, and inspired generations-arguably more than any player besides MJ himself. The GOAT debate is subjective. Stephen A relies on stats, but greatness is more than numbers-and the world knows it. 🐍🔥
2011, when the Lakers got swept by Dallas, was NOT the lockout year. McCants trying use the lockout season to why the Lakers lost is ultimate revisionist history. In the lockout season the Heat won. Smh
@theanonymous1461 That’s not excuse, the Heat went to how many finals, but never got swept or put out the East finals. That team just beat up by Dallas.
Lebron has won a championship with more iconic top 75 players of all time than anyone in history..and that’s not including Kyrie Irving. Lebron has played with more top talent and while also being one of the greatest to ever play and still only had 4 rings…the same as Steph Curry even though Steph only played with Kevin Durant..all his other teammates was never a part of the all time 75th anniversary. Jordan had 2 players Scottie and Rodman Kobe had 1 which was Shaq..all other players were not in their prime Lebron had at least 3 in their prime, dwade, bosh and AD. (Not including Ray Allen Kyrie)
It's not about the best player when talking about the greatest of all time. It's the greatest. Jesse Owen's is one of the greatest sprinters of all time yet ran only 10.3 second 100m. Average Olympic time is 10 seconds. It's about the feeling they give, the aura, what they stand for and represent. Ali isn't the best boxer to ever live but is by far the greatest. Pac wasn't the most technical or the most vibey rapper but he was more than that. He bred hope through struggle. Kobe represented a mentality that will long outlive him, a hunger for greatness with a cold killer approach to basketball. He is far greater than LeBron will ever be. It's not the BOAT debate, it's the GOAT debate.
The problem with stats is, it doesnt show hustle, effort, work ethic, killer instinct, influence over other players, and all other intangibles that makes a lot of difference but doesnt show in the stats sheet...
"How great you gon be if you gonna sub him out in the last 2 minutes!!" 🤣🤣🤣 LITERALLY BRO!! (Side note: Stephen A was way too quiet during this segment)
Gil is ignoring context. What makes Kobe and Jordan more clutch than LeBron is when they were clutch. It's why they both have winning finals records, and LeBron's is losing.
@nivek1660 AD, DWade, Kylie, Rondo,... all HOF players that lebron couldn't win without. Look at the Olympics. Kobe was the hero down the stretch. Then Curry. Sorry guys but lebron is a Robin. Not batman
@jameslincoln75 He wasn’t the best player on 3 out of his 5 championship teams and there was no question who was MVP. If you wanna say individual player in a 1 vs 1 then Kobe might would’ve won but every nba metric statistically Lebron has the edge other than 5 to 4 rings
@jameslincoln75lol and yet Lebron won finals mvp every time he won a championship- Kobe was finals mvp only 2/5 of his championships (40%). He was the Robin during the lakers 3peat since Shaq won finals mvp each time. So LeBron played with Wade, AD, etc- LeBron still won finals mvp each time. In addition, Kobe played with a top 10 player of all time in Shaq- something LeBron never did.
But bron has more game winners n the post season (where it matters most) than Kobe but Mccants standing down on Kobe having more ? Is this man not educated ?
One thing I noticed when Kobe passed that's when people started switching up
Facts
Real ones never switched… he’s been top 5
No one talks about his defence which puts him above lebron
@TheLeVernisPodcastreal ones know Kobe biggest haters are Jordan fans
@DrRhilTV yeah cos he threatens Jordan’s legacy
"When Kobe was alive" - I'll never get used to hearing that.
Yeah it sucks hearin that shit still unbelievable
@ChrisKamanUrEye 🚁 ⛰️ 💀
@rashadzellner1298Man shut your ho ssa up with that. You lame asf for that comment 🤡
What does that do for you? @rashadzellner1298
It still feels fake
Jordan has had something to say about every single player in NBA history. It’s clear to me that of the players that followed Mike, he respected Kobe and AI the most.
A Wolf knows another Wolf plain n simple.
“Every player in history” 😂 can you tell me MJ thoughts on Isaiah Jackson and Jarace Walker then please? Lmao
Throw in his thoughts on Jalen Hood-Schifino while you’re at it 😂
Also it’s the internet so I gotta say this, I’m just mess wit u bro. I know what you meant, it just sounded funny reading it 😂
Jordan is especial because he has physical gift that Kobe don't have that's what edge him the most he knows that if Kobe has the same athleticism like Carter or Mcgrady Kobe will be the GOAT
Watched Kobe since I was 5 years old. He was my childhood hero. I turn 28 this year. still can’t believe he’s gone. RIP 🐐 I still remember and I’ll tell my kids how great Kobe Bryant was
"17k points in two different jerseys" but he said it aint about stats.
Exactly. I also wonder if LeBron broke up his career into 2 different jerseys would that matter?
@bobbywrong8112 I think gil broke it down before but Bron got 3 hof careers in one.
It’s not about avg stats.
@Linz.Edward huh
These ninjas just hate that Bron came in with all that hype and still ended up lapping the field. They can't stand it. Its a done deal. Lebron is legendary, one of the greatest athletes this country has ever produced.
Steven A looking like man I got shit to do these dudes going in circles 😂😂😂
lol facts.
He literally changed the subject lol. Told dudes to continue that on their own time.
Very true. It was like it was his Podcast. Still impressed with Josiah.
Typical brothers just argue about nonsensical points if they’re not drooling over white women 😂 pathetic
Gil is weird with how much he tries to diminish Kobe even though that was his favorite player gotta be for clicks
We can only use stats when I want to use stats 🤣🤣🤣
You right let’s use stats .. Luka better stats than lebron .. Luka > bron
@alexcastillo6830and then you bring up amount of years accolades and chips then it's no contest😂
@alexcastillo6830 alex, what stats are you using here I'm curious
Even if you use only 2025 season it's pretty close
@alexcastillo6830 Alex you sound like a kid who only start watching in 2025
Nobody shooting paper balls into the trash bin shouting "Lebroooooon."
Yea they are kids are just like my generation had I wanna be like mike and then “Kobe” kids have Bron
@WhoShotYa314cut it out its kids in my neighborhood shooting the ball still saying kobe
they say curry now
And that means what?
They’re not saying “Jordan” either
THE ENERGY IS SO DIFFERENT WITH BUDDY THERE IN PERSON 😂😂😂
lol he worth 100 mil now. 😅 probably got armed security and all. They so calm and collected lmaooooo
Right McCant even praising him in person. Lol
That man Rashad folded like a Montgomery Brawl chair!
McCants fanned out awww man!!
They all whimped out.
“Kobe! Backboard! 🤷🏻♂️ on Christmas?! MERRY CHRISTMAS N****!” bro mccants is hilarious 😭 9:20
Shot was not on Christmas
@shanegelegan4499tf u tellin me for
Exactly 😭😭😭
😂😂🤣
That shot was vs wade and the heat before Bron.
3:50 everyone watch Gil’s face 😂😂
Stephen A out here dress like Martin Lawrence when he did that New Jack City episode 😂
So what I learned is mccants uses stats for Kobe but when it’s used for lebron it’s just “stats” bet
4-6 in the championships
@ 10 finals appearances only 2011 was his fault and majority of his finals he was not favored to win still winning 4
@ bruh life is about winning the big game , no excuses if u couldn’t get it done bruh , Kobe n MJ figured it out
@jrsmith3238 that’s why lebron is 2nd all time, Kobe lost in the finals also. I can say more things that support lebron without ever mentioning the longevity also
@jrsmith3238I mean he did figure it out 4 times
Rashad's career wasn't cut short because of injuries, it was because of his basketball intelligence 😂
Intelligence period
cherrbuggin and braindead if you think he’s being ridiculous. dude’s spitting exactly what i’ve always felt on the matter, and nick young summarized it perfectly too-if jordan’s the goat, then the remix of jordan is still the next best thing point blank period.
@questgnarnialol bro just stop, with this goofy take. Compare Kobe to Steph, Duncan, KG etc lebron and MJ are in there own league.
He said “Kobe Bryant on Christmas..merry Christmas 🥷🏾” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Like Nick young said, how in the world do they say Kobe is THE CLOSEST to Jordan, and then in the same breath, they put other people above him in rankings. Thats the dumbest thing ever. The only person im ok with people ranking above Kobe is Jordan.
He’s the closest but a distanced second
@hugolizardno he’s not. And he’s busy Jordan ass on that court as well. I wait, he did that with 56 as a young pup 🤷🏽♂️💯
you emotional and delusional Kobe isn’t second in nothing definitely not GOAT and i’m a lakers fan from LA
@HakeemTheLean I have 2 eyes that works perfectly fine. I know what I saw for 20 years
@Kbst2421 cool i'm glad you not a alien but that's ya problem "what you seen" it's not about you.. reason why i'm glad ya opinion doesn't matter cause it's guys you never seen that were actually great and greater than kobe
The elephant in the room what happened to all that energy 😂😂
That conversation about who more clutch was crazy. Mcantz put himself in the body bag 😂
caus he did not research. Kobe is FAR more clutch in the final 2 minutes in one possession games and IN FINALS.
Kobe is the most clutch player in nba history 🤷🏽♂️
Kobe was hella inconsistent in the clutch dude @mash1697
@mash1697 You have no idea what you're talking about
@realtundragamingnot according to stats
I seen an interview with Kobe and he said, Jordan showed me too many things for me to ever think I’m better than him.
End of day Kobe was the most competitive player ever when It came to basketball. My Opinion, Kobe is either #2 or 3 all time.
RIP MAMBA!!
You didn't see or don't remember the Piston vs Lakers finals I'm guessing.
We need to stop comparing players and just appreciate greatness
“Comparison is the thief of joy”… but this is a basketball entertainment poscast at the end of the day.
The WE👈🏿 ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF EMOTIONAL UNSTABLE FEMININE MEN.....
its so much more to talk about it does the game and all the other great players a disservice always focusing on comparing certain players
Uh no. If we don't compare them how do we determine the great from the good
I agree. reporters wouldn't have a job lol
Kenyon be out there just chilling lol
was thinking the same thing. He wanted no part of that conversation.
I say the same about Lexie
Kenyon should speak up cause Kobe eliminated his Denver nuggets 2 years in row !
McCants just learned “move the goal posts” and won’t stop using it.
😂 true
You goddamn right I go buy how it looks , that's exactly what I go by how it looks.
I heard "Cemetery Larry" was quiet as a mouse this episode. What happened to that body bag Shad?
It's easy to talk trash when someone is not in your face but unless you have real beef your not going to get disrespectful
@TheGuillotineKing nah bruh keep that same energy always, no point in switching up.
He wasnf quiet like that... he was talking.. he wasnt ghetto arguing but he was talking
@TheGuillotineKing you don't gotta be disrespectful but at the same time keep the same energy. Ya boi was itching to get Stephen on the show, where's that same pulse? I'm just super sayin.
FAACTS.. Boy was sitting there nervous as hell 😂😂
McCants speaks the most for Kobe on the couch but probably knew him and what he was about the least
That's how he stays relevant...if he wasn't talking Kobe....who would care wat he thinks
@jamesjackson2117 not true
He’s tryin wayyy too hard without making any sense lmaooo
He didn't make a good case for kobe. He wasn't even arguing basketball. Don't praise McCants Hess a clowwn
@lowkeyIbes
cherrbuggin and braindead if you can’t follow the conversation. dude’s spitting exactly what i’ve always felt on the matter, and nick young summarized it perfectly too-if jordan’s the goat, then the remix of jordan is still the next best thing point blank period.

listen to rashad, he’s right. and I’ll appreciate that stephen a can concede bron ain’t clutch and kobe is in his top 5.
Well, I can say the same thing: the only reason Jordan doesn't have more championships and MVPs is because he retired twice in his prime.
They're both tied for game winning buzzers in regular seasons
I hope that wherever you had Kobe, top 10 or not you had him there before he died
I always had Kobe in my top 5
Most people didn't.
I had Kobe anywhere between 3 and 7 before he died and, as a giant Bryant fan, he still falls in that range for me.
In LA many of us had Kobe top 3 before he died
Yea I’ve always had Kobe 11th at best and a helicopter didn’t change that.
The bron hater and the kobe teammate and the guy bron just checked having this convo is hilarious
lol
Sorry but they are all right LeBron faked that shit with Tatum the other night really that's your goat huh
They are nba players vs you a casual
@darrellsutton5334fake it?? Lmao y’all weird asf when it comes to Lebron
@Tbsosicsuper weird. You know how great LeBron is? If he gets hurt or injured even his biggest haters can't believe it 😂
Kobe having more all defensive team nods than Jordan and LeBron never gets brought up in these debates.
They just say Kobe didn't deserve them
@kingbeez216 exactly even tho Jordan got a defensive player of yr award tho
@onizoddhe didn’t and I’m a Kobe fan
But yes Jokic is a better all-around player than Giannis and his stats speak for itself
imagine your goat that cant even shoot free throws
12:08 Rashad just be pulling things out of thin air lmao
duh..
I’m convinced bro has an IEP!
I been waiting for this topic right here!
8:40 yeah Rashad is trolling no way he has a functioning frontal lobe
Kobe hit 36 game winners over his career. They be confusing game winners as just buzzer beaters. if you hit the last shot then yall lock up, that shot you hit was just as clutch as the buzzer beater you just locked up, lol.
what was his record head up against Bron- the only player they compare him to?
Yes thank you
They gotta say what makes Bron look better
I have never been more frustrated! Kobe has a better percentages in the final 2 minutes of 4th quarters in the playoffs than Lebron and Kobe has more game winners, 36 compared to Lebron's 19! Lebron is also a -86 in the finals compared to Kobe who is a +36! Kobe's more clutch.
Then LeBron got more 😂
Kobe wasn’t scared of taking that last shot. Bron is shock of the shot
Barkley recently went on a rant about why ESPN talents are hacks, and this segment just proves he wasn't wrong.
well this is just a special segment because stephen A is a rare guest, its not like you will see him once a week or a month, Stephen A might return here next few years or none at all
Just let people talk about what they want.. that’s the beauty of the sport. If u want basketball purity watch “thinking basketball” not rspn
Starting with Gil
Chuck is a hack also.
Barkley? That’s ur source? That crew has admitted to not watching the games. Like seriously? Same guy who said Lu Dort was gonna shut down Luka? Riddle me this, how Barkley works in media, but tryna diss ESPN for talking about the most popular basketball team in the world.
Isn’t mccants the same one that say everyone is entitled to their own opinion? Why is he butthurt because he doesn’t have kobe as the number 2😂😂
😂😂 right
Dude it's mccants. Just accept the illogic lol
Cause it the truth
@Cor_Gaming If anyone meets him just say Parade magazine said a 15 year old LeBron was better than you.🤣🤣🤣
Nah he just irritated at the lengths Bronsexuals go to just to glaze him
My problem with Rashad when it comes to this is how he comes off. When I listen to him talk, it’s sometimes as if he feels like because Kobe passed, nobody should ever be able to be put in front of him. And to me, that’s utterly ridiculous.
Wherever you had Kobe, just make sure he was there before he passed.
He's utterly ridiculous 99.9% of the time.
@LeetraviusMcKay-q6mwe didnt know kobe, nobody moved down him because he passed. Stop being weird
@WHATTEASAID
cherrbuggin and braindead if you think he’s being ridiculous. dude’s spitting exactly what i’ve always felt on the matter, and nick young summarized it perfectly too-if jordan’s the goat, then the remix of jordan is still the next best thing point blank period.

Big CAP HE SPOKE THE TRUTH dick rider
4:04 "and sh*t" he so downnnnn dressed like Alonzo on training day
This is what's wild we listening to Rashad talk about the game you notice it's nothing off the court you can say the same about Jordan but not Karem, it's amazing the overlooking what Karem meant to soecity not just the game which is why most people have issue with Kobe Bryant he was a hooper great but wasn't creating any platforms for the grater good of the black community.
7:20 kenyon😂😂😂
9:25 😂😂😂 "Merry Xmas, 🥷🏿🗣" was funny too.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow!! The 1 shot 1mafw 100% argument completely destroyed them!!! Excellent argument!!!
Never forget that Lebron was averaging 37 ppg against McCants
🫡
Facts
Bronsexual 😂😂
You got LeBrons thing in your mouth 👄 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rashad’s logic: you can’t use accomplishments or stats to prove that someone is better. You have to use the impact of the moment 😂.
Kobe has more Championships. That’s more accomplishments dummy.
@bethcasper12 LeBron has more MVPs FMVPs. Thats more accomplishments dummy. 🤷♂
@bethcasper12less MVPS, less finals MVPS, fewer ppg, rbg, apg, and a lower field gold percentage. I’m not even a Bron fan but Kobe is not ahead of him
@travisdurham29 💯
@bethcasper12u jus got ratioed lol
“Women lie Men lie. Numbers don’t lie” … unless it has to do with LeBron 😂😂😂
@RonHarper818 eye test matters too and stats do lie. Wb volume, context , competition during those stats, rule changes during those stats
@TheLeVernisPodcast And what does it tell you
@TheLeVernisPodcast The fact your emotions just let you type that is CRAZY 😂😂 Iverson & T Mac LOOKED better than everybody but are they considered the GOAT.. THINK BROTHER THINK 😂
@will-vp9ng this ain't boxing homeboy, you clowns love bringing up that 4-6 nonsense.
@will-vp9ng Losing in the earlier round still counts as losing 😂
Basketball is the only sport where this dumb argument is brought up
That free throw line 100% 1of1 killed the argument
“Is he the greatest from the free throw line Gilbert “😂😂😂11:50
😂😂😂😂
Mccants for all that talking he was doing about Stephen A kinda calm now lol
But somehow he had plenty to say during the LeBron Stephen a topic
Lebron vs. Rashard Mccants 6-1 record 37.4 PPG
We Both Know that McCants Career Was T R A S H
4-6 in the CHAMPIONSHIP
McCants is my 🐐
Facts but he won't tell you that!!
@PedroDeAlvarado81don’t lie you didn’t know who McCant was until this podcast
Why he ain’t talk about Kobe when he was alive 😂😂😂😂😂 let’s get to that
2:10 “I have a problem with minimizing Kobe’s legacy to big up another player” is that not exactly what they’ve been doing to Bron for 10+ years?
Tbf bron fans do that the most
Bron stays in your mouth
@YachiRy-sl3dkBron fans discredit Kyrie as if he didn't score 40pts in an finals elimination game... Pau didn't score 40, Pippen didn't score 40 etc.
“Jordan played with plumbers” was created by Lebron fans btw
@YachiRy-sl3dkNah we have to say obvious things on the face of baseless and false narratives painted against lbj
I didn't notice Kenyon until 9:15 😅
😂
😂
That’s the face you make when you are listening to a fool argue a fools opinion. 😂
Fr 😂
As soon as I looked at your comment, it was hitting 9:15 and they showed Kenyon😂
Kobe is like Tupac and Biggie, they were sancfified because of how dramatically and painfully they were taken away from us.
sacrificed?
@SolaceMcflysanctified
Nahh
Newsflash!!! Lebron has more playoff buzzer beaters than anyone in history.
Rachaad is a typical pro Kobe or mj fan. Nothing wrong with those guys being your personal favorite or your “goat”, but these fans are so hypocritical and dumb it’s crazy….also the LeBron not being clutch debate is so stupid….
He's not clutch
@tyromelangston3054 Clutch is defined as the “The last five or less minutes in the fourth quarter / game.”
The biggest knock on LeBron vs MJ and Kobe is LeBron doesn't have the kil*** mentality.
Making layups ain’t clutch lol
@nate9798 Henry Ruggs has a killer mentality no?
Rashad & Kenyon were tap dancing like the late great Gregory Hines - Stephen a
"In My Lifetime"
BEST GOAL POST MOVERS IN PODCAST LOL.. GREAT EPISODE FELLAS
1. only one of his game winning buzzer beaters was a lay up
2. WHO THE FUCK CARES as long as the shot goes in that’s all that should matter
Lol. Who cares if the game winner was a dunk or layup or a middy or a 3 🤣🤣🤣 as long as the shot went in and they won... Honestly kobe and LeBron fans are on the same level of delusion...
I appreciate this!! 💯 For Kobe.
Tbh, Kobe was better player than anyone, but the problem was it was Kobe vs NBA.
Listening to Rashad McCants.. he’s definitely not the brightest bulb in the room. I’m sorry.
@JLewis95is a guy a great hitter if his numbers are great, but he chokes when the game or season is on the line?
@Illhostility Sure. He still made a lot of FT. So missing late is different than missing earlier in the game? Last time I check a FT still counts the same.
The Kobe disrespect after his demise is real 😒🥲
Gil was at the Diddy Parties with LeBron 😂
Thank you
@MyronZhao 💯FACTS…Thank you!!! 🙏🏼
McCants sounds so dumb sometimes
Always
sometimes?
I agree
Sometimes? All the time!! Dude is not intelligent at all
Bro no Cap I didn't notice Kenyan Martin til damn near the end.
13:49 maccant a hater 😂😂😂
No he’s not LeBron not better than Kobe
The biggest hater
McCants gets so emotional he starts saying dumb shit 😂😂😂
@timuelljackson2578bRo gLaZiNg kObE 😂😂
@timuelljackson2578LeBron never been robin foh
Just appreciate the greatness! You don't have to diminish one to big up another..
The debate error is toxic af.
Exactly, and that is why I honestly can't take Gil serious, he loves to diminish the greatness of others to prop up who he likes
It’s like people waited for Kobe to pass to say how they really feel 💔
Real
You must be new to the nba cause that can’t be further from the truth.
The world knew once Kobe came back from that injury he was not gonna catch Mj. Had he not got injured playing with Dwight and Nash and got the chance to finish his career healthy, Bron would’ve been breaking Kobe’s scoring record and Kobe might’ve gotten 6.
@Lucas-tw1wx no it’s like they waited til he past to put him higher than they had him when he was alive .
@DrRhilTV h I agree...they didn't even like kobe...and kobe didn't care for them
Man I remember Charles Barkley praising Kobe after a game saying this kid is the best I ever seen that was before the gasol Lakers now it's all disrespect
LeBron,Steph & KD , jackass 🤡
@ no defense, flopping, and traveling. You just made my point...
@Igotyoub33 they didn't switch up bron just lapped him up
@Igotyoub33 but same token folk like Rashad act like he wasn't out the conversation in 2016 when LeBron with the Cavs. Kobe was top 2 until he wasn't
I remember watching nba tv and they the commissioner david stern about kobe bryant goat status and the commissioner rank kobe up there with bill Russell and Michael Jordan but ever since klutch sports arrived for some reason he's not even a top ten let alone top 5
Exactly. 2010 kobe has solidied his number 2 spot.
LeBron has more that’s what yall are not realizing… yall feelings won’t let you
@kyshaunsmith154 Bron trash 🗑 Kobe was that dude on both sides not 1 side. Big difference
@kyshaunsmith154 Kobe has 36, MJ like 23 and LeBronze less than 20... LeBron has more airballed free throws than Kobe and MJ have rings combined
@quirinogarza7381if coming back from 3-1 in the Finals isn't the Mt. Rushmore of clutch then what is???
Kobe was my childhood hero he will always be the best off all time I remember watchin him and then talkin about it with my friends on the bus to school good memories
It's crazy how Kobe gets disrespected smh..... it's really not good for basketball or for sports debate. NBA players find that shit extremely disrespectful
It’s not disrespectful he wasn’t a top 10 player all time. Everybody had him top 15-20 all time he die all of a sudden he top 3?
Kobe is top 3 in All NBA 1st team
Kobe is top 2 in all NBA defensive 1st team
Kobe is top 2 in all star appearances
Kobe is top 3 in all NBA defenses
Kobe is top 3 in most skilled
Kobe has 5 Rings in 7 finals appearances
Kobe has multiple Rings without another top 75 player on his team.
Kobe is top 5 in points
Kobe is top 2 in all star appearances
Kobe in 1st in all NBA 1st team defenses
Kobe is top 2 in all NBA offenses
Kobe is top 3 in total all NBA defensive selections
Kobe is top 3 in playoff points
Kobe is top 2 as the most skilled ever
Kobe has multiple Rings without another all star or top 75 player on the team. Only steph curry can say that.
Kobe averaged 29 ppg in the toughest era playing alongside a Prime Shaq. Period
So with Kobe being top 5 in so many important statistical categories... its impossible to say he isnt at the very least in the top 5. Other than MJ. There is no one u can say is undoubtedly over Kobe Bryant. Many player have MJ 1A Kobe 1B
Y'all so butt-hurt in the comments that kobe isn't being worshipped, but don't even recognize that Gil is wearing the real kobe's on his feet 🤦♂😂😂😂
Swear they don’t pick up on stuff
Gil made this point a while back. You can only compare Kobe to 95-98 MJ. Nobody can be compared to 84-93 MJ. That dude was on a whole another level.
95-98 Jordan is still better than any versions of Kobe
The other fact is you don't have to do extra moves when 48 vertical and can run like the wind.
Kobe way more skilled stop it it's y'all mj and lbj fans only y'all shit on everybody MN sAid Kobe the only one who can match him and I'ma take his word over y'all goofys anyday
@TrideepNaggnah
@TrideepNagggive me 02-8 Kobe over any mf after 92
They all have skills, what makes someone a good player is knowing when and which ones to use.
@Arnzez-z7r 2000 sure but 2001 and 2002 nope its kobe.
Kobe is still the youngest player drafted/to play in a NBA game and youngest All Star in league history
Del Harris Lakers HC from 96-98 on Kobe “Teenagers do not belong in the NBA”
Imagine Cavs HC saying Lebron didn’t belong in the NBA in 2003 that’s what Kobe dealt with
If Kobe was drafted by Charlotte given free reign he would been avg 25PPG+ by his 2nd season just watch the 1998 All Star game
@davis2k1234 I’m not arguing Kobe ain’t in the goat discussion. Just debunking this lie that the Kobe criticism started after his death
Kobe last 2 rings his biggest motivation was debunking the criticism. You can’t do it without shaq, ball hog, bad teammate etc
I wish mccants argued better for Kobe he had so much stats and facts he could’ve used Gil is just smarter
That is why Gil can out debate McCants. They know Rashad goes off emotions vs facts. Rashad gos off moments as if the moments won't translate to statistics 😂.
What facts or stats could he have used? The stats and facts show LeBron is more clutch and a better player.
@Tonybakerjr Crazy thing isssss Rashad said game winning buzzer beaters is the most clutch thing u can do and LeBron has the most in playoff history & Kobe only has one lol… Dude just be talking for voice box exercise lol
@rcash001 Kobe has more game winning shots than
@amenx incorrect LeBron has 21 to Kobe’s 8. Try again
Like talkin to wall with McCants 😂😂😂
He’s dumb flat out
@raymondsims7042😂😂😂😂
He’s hard to listen to
@mrstokes1052 take away stats but Kobe 80 points in a game, take away stats but Kobe got 5 championship & 2 mvps 🥴🥴🥴🥴😂😂
People be using feelings to much in sports debates 😂😂
3:52 - “That’s where you let emotions get into the mix.”
When you’re talking about the GOAT, emotion should be part of it.
Emotion is the leading factor for Kobe fans.
@dezz8598That’s why Kobe and MJ have the best/ most fans worldwide.
Jordan retired twice and it still took forever to pass him, but never did in chips mvps or finals mvps
You can’t measure emotion
2011, when the Lakers got swept by Dallas, was NOT the lockout year. McCants trying use the lockout season to why the Lakers lost is ultimate revisionist history. In the lockout season the Heat won. Smh
They were coming off 3 straight finals out west team was gassed and Dirk was unstoppable that season.
@theanonymous1461 That’s not excuse, the Heat went to how many finals, but never got swept or put out the East finals. That team just beat up by Dallas.
@willg1083they were STACKED dummy. Kobe had nobody & win back to back. Bron had WADE & BOSH & still had the BIGGEST, WORSE meltdown ever with 8ppg 😂😂
@theanonymous1461LeBron went to 8 consecutive finals
Lebron has won a championship with more iconic top 75 players of all time than anyone in history..and that’s not including Kyrie Irving. Lebron has played with more top talent and while also being one of the greatest to ever play and still only had 4 rings…the same as Steph Curry even though Steph only played with Kevin Durant..all his other teammates was never a part of the all time 75th anniversary.
Jordan had 2 players Scottie and Rodman
Kobe had 1 which was Shaq..all other players were not in their prime
Lebron had at least 3 in their prime, dwade, bosh and AD.
Nah
@themotivatedmaycry9120 yah
The problem with stats is, it doesnt show hustle, effort, work ethic, killer instinct, influence over other players, and all other intangibles that makes a lot of difference but doesnt show in the stats sheet...
That silence @13:23 by McCants take and Gil’s expression 💀💀💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was the point. Smh
@ I know. Fuckin HILARIOUS
Yea Gil, a hater, but they can't hate greatness
"How great you gon be if you gonna sub him out in the last 2 minutes!!" 🤣🤣🤣 LITERALLY BRO!! (Side note: Stephen A was way too quiet during this segment)
He could read the room. It's a pro Kobe room and he doesn't need to bother that. He's got his platform and his bag.
@kharywright1336huh
Gil is ignoring context. What makes Kobe and Jordan more clutch than LeBron is when they were clutch. It's why they both have winning finals records, and LeBron's is losing.
How many shots did other people take in the clutch for lebron
Kobe’s disqualified because of Shaq who was the MVP during 3 out of his 5 and it was never a question
We gotta start comparing comp
Gil: You can't say take away the resume
Also Gil on a different episode:Take away his accolades, who is the better player?
It would depend on the context of the conversation
Gil tap dancing for Stephen a smith
Business move
But bron has more game winners n the post season (where it matters most) than Kobe but Mccants standing down on Kobe having more ? Is this man not educated ?
In less time
Kobe beat more 50 win teams. Don’t matter how many game winners you have if it’s vs 30 win teams.
Lebron has the most everything because of longevity, he's also has the most turnovers... so the amount doesn't matter. It's about percentages.
@stevec9095he had it before the longevity
@BeatsByWorthy’post season’ how many 30 win teams make the post season? Just curious.
The goat conversation has always Been “Jordan , Kareem, Wilt, Kobe, Bron , & Tim”
5:33 speak Shad!!!!!!
Wasn’t talking about 💩
Kobe vs Bron
No time left at the line Kobe
Last shot for the win Kobe
If you're led by emotions, sure. By the numbers, LeBron hit more game winners than Kobe and hit them at a much higher percentage.
@brainoverbrawn3404 i have seen 1 memorable game winner by Bron he runs from the moment and the line
@brainoverbrawn3404if you really want lebron to shoot dat game winner. i think theres bias
@ceejayyy6472 Kobe would confidently take it every time, but he missed too many times. Numbers don't lie.
@brainoverbrawn3404 who are u confident in taking that shot by what you have seen kobe or bron
Bu McCant’s standards Tracey Mcgraddy is the best player ever.
I don’t believe any of them are starting a team and picking LeBron over Kobe. Nobody is doing that
