Congratulations mate. If you could elaborate on your comment about kit buying I'd like to hear more. I'm in a world of pain when it comes to buying as my clients are always asking for lots of different things whether it be photos, portraits, event Broll, interviews... The list keeps going, i have finally found a complete solution but.... Hahaha it means i have to buy more kit
@@mcewan-media Yeah man, I call that The Trap. I made a video on it. I found my self doing the same, adding: photos, gimbal, drone, timelapse. All these things that required time to research and money to purchase with limited ROI. The two common options are: 1. Hire someone else with all that kit. This wasn’t feasible for me as the budgets were low already. 2. Focus my work into one area that required the same gear over and over. I chose corporate interviews. It is the same formula every time. Camera package on sticks, 2-3 lights and lav/boom, plus a gimbal for broll. It was really nice to be able to buy the premium gear for that specific use. I chose #2. It allowed me to stop buying gear. Instead I could perfect that kit and stop purchasing a wide variety of gear. So that means I have turned down a lot of work that has requested other items. But in turn it has allowed this corporate interview vertical to scale. It helps give cohesion to my brand and marketing as well.
