TODAY'S FOCUS: “Epiphany” means “to reveal” or “to make known.” During the Epiphany season, Jesus makes himself known to us as the promised Savior of the world. Throughout this season, Jesus and his Word are also answering some common, but important, questions.
Today: How do I handle rejection? Does rejection make you feel like a failure? Have you ever tried to tell someone about Jesus and were rejected? Has your own heart ever rejected a message from God’s Word? (Be honest!) Today’s Bible readings show that rejection doesn’t necessarily mean failure, particularly as we’re trying to share Jesus with people, and that God works that rejection out for good. Knowing these truths will help us handle rejection far better.
