  • Rules are made to be “broken” - just kidding, friends! I love experiments, homemade food and creativity 😉 Today there are 2 recipes for cabbage rolls, in which I changed a lot during the cooking process. Let's begin!
    Tomatoes

    For 2 recipes I needed a cabbage head weighing 1.8 kg
    1. Stuffed cabbage rolls with carrots
    cabbage leaves for cabbage rolls
    2 medium carrots
    a little salt
    3-4 cloves of garlic - to taste
    0.5 tsp coriander
    0.5 tsp ground black pepper
    on the tip of the tbsp. turmeric
    0.5 tsp sweet paprika
    marinade
    700 ml water
    2 tsp salt
    2 tbsp. l sugar
    2 bay leaves
    5 pieces. allspice
    10-15 peas coriander
    50 ml. apple cider vinegar
    50 ml. vegetable oil
    Pour, cool and let it brew overnight in the refrigerator 👍 delicious and aromatic! And if the cabbage remains very hard, in the video I showed how to fix it!
    2. Wrong cabbage rolls! It turned out so delicious... words can't describe...

    100 g of dry millet, bulgur, according to the classics - rice
    2-3 tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 large onions
    2 carrots
    tomatoes in their own juice about 500 ml. with tomato, can be replaced with 2 tbsp. tomato paste or 350 ml. tomato juice
    1 tsp flour, like thick sauce - 1 tbsp. flour
    filling:
    approximately 700 g minced meat
    steamed millet
    half fried (onions, carrots)
    2-3 tomatoes or 1 tbsp. tomato paste, or 100 ml tomato juice
    salt
    pepper to taste
    Simmer in the oven for about 1 hour 20 minutes at 200C
