Fluid bed filters test and results

This is a quick test of six fluid bed filters for powder painting: coffee filter, newsprint, 20# printer paper, 30# printer paper, Tyvek (from Post Office Express mail envelope) and grocery bag. The heavier materials (both printer papers and the grocery bag) did the best, although all of them worked to some degree. YMMV since all fluid beds and pumps are different. One trick is to shake the bed a little after you've got the powder moving; that evens out "volcanoes" sometimes. Please feel free to recommend other filter mediums in the comments.
