Agreed! It is weird to me that some businesses are still open that seem non-essentisal. And you are right. I drove past Home Depot and it was packed this weekend!
Great video but a lot of those places in Arena District are closed during the day anyway. The area looks like that sometimes even when it's NOT the pandemic.
Agreed on some level, but a lot of this was filmed on a weekday morning around the normal rush hour times... I live south of the city, and the suburbs are definitely busier!

Message me if you would like to see footage from two days ago when I went for groceries.
Well of course people are still going to the store and out for essential reasons. But downtown Columbus, never looks like this. Especially on the week days. This is sad. Why is it sad? Because everything is closed, a lot of people that work downtown doesn't have a job right now. Why did they close? Because this virus spreads so quickly the state had to shut everything down. And why did the governor shut everything down? Because a lot of people just don't care. You really think people that work at McDonald's or taco Bell really sanitize everything and clean like they are supposed to? Hell no. Especially night shifts. My point is this video shows how sad this situation really is. the governor of Ohio and everyone else involved did the right thing. Number of cases and deaths are going up. And it's only the beginning.
@@amandafyffe5457 they're not just going to the grocery store. I have plenty of pictures of people doing things like going to the non automated car wash and hanging out in the park together with their kids, amongst other things..
Oh I know. Because like I said before people just don't care. That's why everything is shut down. Of course people that don't stay home often because bars, restaurants and wherever else that's socially are very "sick" of being isolated. Kinda like an addiction. But authority's are asking citizens if any witness of a gathering are asked to call police (not 911) and report it. That way it can be brought to their attention to do something. Like break it up. Can't really do that at a park. But I do know state parks are closed and no one is allowed to play at the school play grounds. 🤷🇺🇸
@@Yarglenuts Getting together with other kids in the park is a sure way to spread the virus. Kids are always getting sick and passing things around and then the adults pick catch things for them.
