Santa Claus was drunk and 2 hrs late to the game. The Eagles were losing. By the time Santa got there to help the fans cheer for their team. Snowballs reign down on him. Thx Santa lol
The Fox network kept reminding us (maybe 600 times) during the Giants game (Christmas Day) about how we threw snowballs at Santa what was it - 400 years ago?
You know what we've never done? We never cheered when one of our players was injured. When Matt Cassell (don't remember the year) was injured in Kansas City they cheered their own quarterback being injured. You don't hear about that.
When I was 10 years old in 1980, Philly became the only city with four (4) major sports teams to go to their respective sport championship in 1980; only the Phillies won against the Kansas City Royals. Take care and Happy Independence Day 🎇🧨🎆
As a philly fan I will say everyone only remembers 1 incident from each decade and form it into this cluster of events that happen over a period of time... nobody mentions what happens in Metlife stadium, Yankee or Fenway stadium during there games, shootings at New Englands celebrations and trashing the parade in Kansas city but bc we are passionate it makes us some kind of monster! We'll guess what! People Fear monsters so hey! Keep talking bc we are gonna keep coming!! E A G L E S!! Ring That Bell! Go Flyers!!
While my family is from the Lehigh Valley area (1 hr North of Philadelphia) we are Eagles fans. I remember my uncle's wife had to stop buying beer in bottles because my uncle broke 3 TV's when the Eagles would lose.
When the Eagles were set to play Dallas Cowboys in the 1980 NFC Championship Game I left work on the Friday to get in line for the limited number of tix they were going to release; i was 3rd in line. The weather was bitterly cold; there were barrels for a fire and when they ran out of wood they started burning the Police barracks & the police were HELPING; by 2:00am there was already THOUSANDS in line and the brought the office staff in to open up early. There was a great spirit of comradely passing bota bags & flasks around. Two newspaper reporters interviewed the first 5. Leaving the Vet on that cold-ass Sunday after beating Dallas was just the best.
…game played in 2018 was for the 2017-2018 SEASON…Glen Macnow is a effing LEGENDARY writer & broadcaster; know what you’re talking about before trashing someone.
I was at a Phillies game in the 80’s, in the 700 level. They were playing the Mets and Doc Gooden was pitching. I wanted to see this guy pitch but couldn’t enjoy the game because it was crowded with Mets’ fans THROWING THINGS AND HARASSING US. At the time, It was pretty commonplace for Mets fans to show up and do that. Not anymore.
you should personally not be asking why our fans are like this, and should be asking why youre a whiny loser questioning a youtube video and go find something youre passionate for.
YO GO BURDDSSSSS🦅🦅🦅

No, they MADE Santa get drunk for no reason, that’s the problem.

It's not just the Eagles early 21st century either:
Flyers: mid 1970s
Phillies: 1980
Sixers: mid 1980s
Great story. As a Philly transplant, I just learned a lot!
Last year was an all time Philly season. Lost the Super Bowl, lost the World Series, lost the MLS Cup game. What city can say that?

And the Stars losing to the Stallions in the USFL title game

Awesome video
The author of the book repeatedly says we got the win in 2017 but it was 2018. What a disgrace!

Am from northern England 🏴 the eagles 🦅 are my team I love ❤️ u
Who knew Mike Tyson was an Eagles fan
That horse was super racist
Philly fans aren't the first fans to behave like barbarians. They're just the first ones to take pride in it.
As a cubs fan we went 108 years and never acted liked that or trash every other team. You guys are just man childs
2:45 the Lions have never even been to a superbowl and are older than the Eagles. Also winning the SB in 2017 didn’t change them. Poor excuse.

I hate Philadelphia .
🤣We hate u more😉
Imagine getting so emotional over rigged sports that you’re willing to assault someone lol
Terribly written and reporter with terrible stereotypes, half stories, and blatant lies. Do better.
Just a game. Best not to get to emotional with sports
