I don't think people appreciate Atma's constant contributions. This guy is in EVERYTHING. You start looking back at old records and his name is everywhere. In any case, Guthrie killed it. I don't think I've ever seen him do a bad performance of a song.
He will also never get that Instrumental music is not a competition Guthrie himself would laugh about people that compare the skills of Guitarists of his Level But i was like this to when i was arround the age of 19 to 27
@cbertram11 haha...I met him last week in San Francisco and he said he started by borrowing amps on stage and that he blew the 1st one up and had to change in mid set.
@DaKushBush Is that supposed to be a funny comment? Cause it's funny enough on it's own, but after watching your videos it's a down right hilarious comment.
I am a biug guthrie fan, but Marco Sfogli destroyed him in this concert with Andromeda. I thing Guthrie wings it quite a lot, which he's great at, but not flawless all of the time. Experienced musicians will be able to tell. Also, people who don't play guitar and like this music want to hear it like the CD, which Marco Nails - this rendition is a bit off the mark in my opinion.
I laughed when I heard the few notes from "Parisienne Walkways" at 2:23
Came here to make sure someone got the reference :)
I think it was blue bossa

Wonderful slippery thing
the keybored player is like "what should i play? they've taken all the notes" lol

just goes to show that Parisienne Walkways fits everywhere. sneaky bugger
gary moore quote at 2:22 :)
He will also never get that Instrumental music is not a competition

Wonderfully slippery his hand is on the neck :)
The whole thing is improv by the sounds of it.

hahahaha guthrie at 2:00!! Having a jam on stage then notices the crowd of people staring at him, priceless.
+Jamesftd pretty sure (actually 100% sure) he made that face cause the tapping riff was not to his liking.
lol guys... the drums?! didn't you hear?? xD drums were off beat, in his solo. at 1:53
@@morten112233 Atma was a beast on Speed Metal Symphony and Perpetual Burn, but yeah he got it wrong there :/
@cbertram11 Firstly; he isn't and secondly; Laney make good amps.
@DaKushBush
