Assume that I have 5 infantries, I put 3 of them offensive and 2 defensive, and the enemy gets 2 yellow dices. Shall I remove 1 defensive infantry or 2 offensive ones?

Can’t get off the coast in turn 1?
Did you stop watching and missed the part of the fleet going off the coast to escort the t2 invasion fleet?
Did you miss the part about blowing up the factories/reinforcements in India?
Now it is totally viable to go with a kill China first focus. I think that is the weakest opening turn moves but you can do it.
I do appreciate you watching the first part of the video.

You're right! I had misread the rules on Xports. I thought they could only move two if they both end and START at sea. My mistake. Page 10, 4th Paragraph... I was totally wrong and I'm leaving up my previous comment to remind me to be nice on the internet. I will be rewatching your vid from the start. (Sorry). Thank you for posting and your patience with the newbie (me).

In traditional Axis & Allies style Japan is OP and face several other players "second front" (not their main front).
It is easier to take Moscow from the East (Japan) than West (Germany/Italy)…. Also China is hopelessly weak and free medals for Japan.
India sure is key, if it falls for long UK is toast.

Personally I agree that India should be the main target, but I feel all sides in this game have defensive and offensive goals. For Japan India and China are the main offensive goals. Russia is a big optional because it opens yet another front and another enemy ( a weak one however). America is also optional but given the circumstances I feel China has to be dealt with first. Australia is also kind of optional but is necessary for defensive goals. Japan needs those money islands for turn order and pacific islands to prevent bombing these are its main defensive objectives in my mind.
I feel a Soviet Union strategy is beneficial but can lead to stretching of resources and unnecessary if the Germans can deal with them. Japan should apply pressure to the eastern allies to try and move US attention away from Germany especially with German stretched.

Defensive strategy seems rather weak, you have no combat advantage defending and losing a area is stress on you. Losing an atatck (if you can stil hold your own area) is no loss off stress... A taken area is a medal.

@@PMMagro I must agree a aggressive strategy as the Russians on the eastern front seems the way to go. Lessens stress and pressure and means you keep the oil advantage you have. Its also quite historic from the time period, the only worry for this is bad die roll and the Japanese in the east.

85th Malayan Inf and 78th Sumatran Inf can't make it to Indian coast on T1. They'll be unescorted with a British fleet lurking off S India within easy striking distance. Almost stopped watching there.
