Holy cow. That’s almost describes my f2p journey since launch. Although I got(still getting; 6 stars) halbrad first, there was no Tibet. And I think this is the best guide u can give a new player who doesn’t want to spend or wants to spend minimal. Great graphics. Great work!
I spend a little bit, but I mainly try to be very efficient. I went after Elrond immediately, but the only marquees I've bought were Elladan and Arwen. My goal with these guides is to help players who either don't want to spend or who want to be very efficient with their farms. It's not perfect, but I hope people will find it helpful.
Great guide! And I appreciate the effort put into all the high quality graphics as well as the editing to make this flow better. My only note on the guide would be that it’s not discussing the challenges a whole lot. Maybe not a major item but it’s worth keeping those in mind to get a good flow of resources. Before glyphs it was definitely an achievement to max the crystal challenges.
Thanks for the feedback, and it’s well received! I purposefully left off the Challenges from this guide because I wanted the focus to be on shard farming. I will plan to make a new graphic specifically for challenges so that I can devote more attention to it and I’ll have more real-estate to spread out the information for each challenge. I can make a standalone video discussion it as well.
I hope your account is progressing nicely. I think the change to Arwen was a solid win for new accounts, but having GG at 3 stars gives you a good start toward farming him for Thorin when he goes to a node. Silver lining I suppose!
I somewhat disagree with the structure of the elrond grind. You can hasten an elrond grind by hard node farming leliel and lomion since they only require 60 energy, as a consequence you can use more refreshes on them
The world would be a boring place if we all agreed on everything. I appreciate that some may want to use Leliel instead of Legolas, and that's why in the guide I've made Leliel interchangeable with Legolas, and I call out that some people may want to use Leliel for the Elrond unlock. At the end of the day, new players will have to decide whether they want to take the most efficient path or the fastest path. For what it's worth, I fully acknowledge that using Legolas does mean it will take a while to get to 5 stars and you can't farm either Eomer or Golburz in Arena store. There are tradeoffs to every strategy.
Let me just say that I think that Eomer is one of the best characters in the game for single-target damage. He is 100% a character to farm. I chose to recommend Legolas because he has a solid leader ability and it allows you to almost completely avoid using Eowyn and Eothain to get the Elladan node unlocked. I was able to get Elladan's node three starred with characters ranging from 3 to 5 stars on my F2P account and that I think at least justifies my recommendation as plausible. Either way, I think you guys are both justified in your positions, and honestly I think it's great that there are options for new players so that they don't have to pick one lane. All I'm trying to do with my guide is keep people from needing to farm excess characters. I farmed Lomion and Leliel for my Elrond unlock and I don't even use Leliel at all. Lomion is collecting dust too for the most part. But it's hard to argue against those 60 energy nodes! Good discussion!
Amazing resource thank you for taking the time to put this together for us. Looking forward to the future content.

I just finished up a farm, and I'm very happy to find this video before committing to the next batch of characters.

Thanks for doing this, very helpful!!
I am glad you found it helpful!
I started 11/22. At that point it was for sure GG. Great video.

That's an excellent guide!
Thank you and congratulations!
Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad you liked the guide! I will work to improve it for the next iteration as well. Have a great weekend!
Great guide and video as always!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good content though, looking forward to more from you 😊
I appreciate the vote of confidence and the honest feedback!

I somewhat agree, that way you can focus on eomer first which I think is a stronger character overall than Legolas
