I absolutely hate how the younger girls treat each other and it's bc of the moms, it's gotten to the point I can only watch through you bc I get so mad at how awful these moms are. It's unbearable, there's no team
I actually enjoyed the reboot a lot more than I thought I would. Ashlan was a definite highlight for me (and Production really seemed to like her too!). Yeah, she was over-dramatic and a bit bratty at times, but she had such a fun and unique personality that I don't we've ever really had on Dance Moms before.
I could say that I enjoyed this series as much as the OG Dance Moms, but what I didn't like is that this season the girls felt more catty to one another and some didn't really get to showcase themselves individually. For instance, Smiley, Leilah and Lily were almost always at the bottom row of the pyramid
I actually cannot believe the shit that happened during this show. I like the fact Glo was nicer compared to Abby, but the fact the kids and the moms were way worse than original cast speaks volumes. I honestly feel bad for the kids the most, but holy shit was this a nightmare, I am speechless by some of the stuff that happened during this show. 😭
I think the topic honestly isn’t that inappropriate, because it’s real. These girls are getting older, besides Mina, they’re need to learn about it. Things like drugs are so dangerous but so accessible, even to young teens.

Conflicting feelings, It's important to bring awareness but I feel like they should've changed it as soon as they realized how close it was to one of the families. I think it would've been different and okay to keep it in if it didn't bring her to tears each time.
I do agree with you, however Production would have known in advance from the moms and planned to do dances along with Glo. This is the same production team as the original dance moms and they used personal stories as an idea for dances. The one for me that comes to mind was Family Court, Grifters… The waiting Room (not season 5’s nationals but the one BDA did)… That Girl’s gotta be kissed (Abby did say that Melissa was caught kissing someone who was not her husband)… that were based on personal lives… Oh yeah, I remembered another one, Suicide Hotline which was based on Kalani’s friend who took their life and that dance has continued to have an impact on Kalani which she was forced to reveal during the reunion the impact it had.
When I first saw this group dance, I had no context what it was about, and my brain automatically went to school shootings, because that’s what’s killing kids this young. That, and there’s a now famous photo of body bags in the Robb elementary hallway, and that’s what I immediately thought inspired it. Oof. Regardless, ouch. Painful, purposeful piece. Well done.
in my opinion she started out really likeable, especially when she tried to stop mina from being mean. but when gina joined the team, that's when things shifted. she was probably jealous, which is valid emotion when you're being compared to another girl. the producers clearly wanted another maddie and chloe
The moms in OG Dance Moms were vicious towards each other and mean to some of the kids but I feel like some of the moms in this show are borderline emotionally abusive

I loved it the first time I watched it (I cried) but now I can’t help but feel like it was very exploitive of them to have Ashlan preform that on stage. My fav fall activity is painting pumpkins!! I enjoy this more because fun fact: pumpkins last longer when you paint them instead of carving them! So for the explosions in the sky dance, the girls are like portraying kids like in war times on the forth of july. The explosion noises are in fact fireworks, but the children think that the sounds are b*mbs, bc of the war.☺️ ( just realized that this was the wrong vid, but 😅)
You should watch their unreleased solos and duets from this season! I know Lily had a Beetlejuice solo and Audrey and Smiley had a duet! I've also seen one of Gina's solos from this past season that was jazz and it was really good!
The problem with these set of moms is they clearly are doing all of this for attention. At least the OG moms had boundaries and wouldn't let the kids talk bad about each other knowingly and genuinely wanted them to be friends.
That group dance brought me to TEARS!!!! It was executed perfectly, and everyone did a fantastic job!!!! I hate how catty the girls are towards one another, and production should be ashamed of themselves for letting them belittle one another like that. That being said, I do hope the show comes back for another season but with less fighting among the girls. Great video as always! hello! i am really good friends with some of the girls because i live near them. i am very sad to be the one to tell people that they will not be filming another season because of the money issues that happened because of the show. StudioBleu went out of business for not paying their workers and also just going into straight debt. I was supposed to dance there but then decided to go somewhere else. there will not be any more seasons of Dance Moms: NEW ERA.
