Man leave the Turbo Thrift 230 in it, leave the wheel covers on it and just shoot clear coat on it and enjoy it. We have an old Bonneville that we re did the interior, found an FM converter to use with the original radio, and put some vice grip garage shine juice on it . Makes it perfect for cruz-in s because you can park it and walk around and forget it, not like our Camaro where you have to watch over it. Great find. Enjoy your Be lair

My first car had a 250 straight 6. I've been partials to inlines ever since. I'm thinking you need to do lump orts in the head, Offy manifold, 4 barrel, cam and a set of headers.
