We always check the weather forecast before heading out to film. In recent years, there has been less and less snow. We believe this might be partly due to the calming of the Vltava River with the dams, as water is known to be a good heat reservoir. Additionally, temperatures in the city center are significantly different due to traffic and heat emissions from buildings, so snow often doesn't stay on the ground for long. Based on experience, snow usually falls just before Christmas and then more frequently in January and February, but you can't rely on it. So, keep an eye on the weather forecast and hope it proves accurate. All the best!

Unfortunately. It s not typical winter weather for Prague anymore. Prague was more often snowy and freezy 30 or 40 years ago. Nowadays this beauty you can enjoy two or three times per winter (just for few days).

The Czech Republic and especially Prague are already overwhelmingly beautiful under normal circumstances, but when it starts to snow, it’s like being in a magical fairy tale.
