Student Life at Southern Maine Community College

SMCC has many events and activities on its seaside campus. Students and the public participate in year-round athletics, student senate and leadership, a newspaper and literary magazine and dozens of clubs and organizations. Summer months bring many weddings to the beautiful campus and even a triathlon which hosts hundreds of athletes from all over the country.

I wanted to go to Yale but it’s so far away from where I live. It’s expensive and getting in is basically impossible and chances are too slim. I’m still getting just as good an education!
