I have the Blonds Blond Gold, Venetian Muse and Tokidoki Barbie (I have the Platinum version) too! I do not collect silkstones or vintage dolls because their faces don't appeal to me, but I do love the fashion on them

I remember when we first moved to the US from Iran and my first day in school I became friends with a boy who loved Barbie's like I did (my first friend). Some of my dad's friends gifted me some dolls for my birthday and I kept some unboxed. We decided to do a trade the next day so I gave my little school friend one of my unboxed barbie dolls and he gave me a portrait of barbie. I moved a year later and haven't been able to find him anywhere as I got older but it was so cute that that was my first experience in an american classroom.

I love your beautiful doll collection!I have to come clean and say to the world,i am a CAREFUL de-boxer! im glad i did because i noticed my delphine silkstone starting to have just a trace of green-ear!i almost fainted! i did not think ''silkies'' could have that reaction from the earrings!i carefully removed the earrings,then went to ''claires'' jewelery store and bought the tiny,plastic ear protectors that people use when they have pierced ears,& are allergic to metal posts.barbie it seems is also"allergic" to ANY metal posts!please check your beautiful dolls ASAP!The folks at clairs can direct you to the plastic sheaths.when you put the plastic on the earring,you may have to make the hole in the dolls head,just a tiny bit larger with a large sewing needle!just put the earring back in the doll.dont let the plastic sheath "bunch-up"and slip the earring back in the doll CAREFULLY! i hope this tip will help protect your dolls for years to come loved your video! your personality is so endearing!! xxoo

Yes, I've heard about Silkstones having reactions to their earrings which is why they now have earring guards on the newer dolls, I believe. It is also why Mattel has opted to make a number of Silkstones without earrings (or so I'm told...although I don't know that that's a very good reason...). But thank you for the heads up! Such a wonderful collection! Bravo! I so love the way you present every doll in your collection, with much enthusiasm and appreciation for the overall look of the doll. You appreciate the craftsmanship that took to produce the doll and its outfit. This is so engaging and entertaining. Other doll reviewers are such critics, yes I do understand that dolls that are stamped as collectibles should be of quality but at the end of the day, it's the call of the collector to buy the doll regardless of its faults if something about it calls to him or her. Sometimes too much negativity or being too critical destroys the wonder and fun which are innate in collecting especially with collecting toys. At least for me, it's about the child like wonder and happiness of being able to play, dress and collect dolls that matter. So keep up the good work and please do more doll videos. By the way, your city chic video is an example of a review that is honest, (it's the truth the outfit was too blue, though I'm a lawyer but I don't think I'm boring hehehe, I won't wear it, but the doll was beautiful) appreciative, light, fun and entertaining. I really appreciate your reviews because I watch videos not only to see which dolls I would like to buy but to be entertained as well and alleviate stress. So again congratulations!

Amazing collection!!! I use to be a die hard Never removed from box collector as a teenager in the 90's & although I still own a lot of dolls in there box's from back then there's nothing more I enjoy as an adult collector than to debox my dolls , restyle them , display them take photos of them & above all enjoy them a whole load more than the ones I keep in storage in there box's , I'm currently trying to downsize my huge boxed collection so I can concentrate on my deboxed model muse & articulated collection , God it's hard work being a Barbie collector.....ha ha...

Such a great collection! I only started getting back into Barbie last year, so it was really interesting to see collector Barbies from before 2015. I'm surprised you don't have Claudette Gordon. I kinda expected her to pop up in the video. :D If she were available in Belgium, I probably would've got her. I love the embroidery on her dress.

Suresh NY Yesssss, I could not figure out who she reminded me of, but you hit the nail on the head! I love the face and I love how the outfit looks in the promo pictures, but I really don't like her body. From what I've seen, I don't think the body does the face justice.

Thank you! I love them all and have more to share soon :) I currently display the boxed dolls in their boxes on white shelves. I don't put plastic over them as I don't want humidity building up inside. I display my deboxed dolls on shelves, too, and dust carefully with a Cle de Peau makeup brush every day to make sure nothing sits on them. I only display them for a few weeks and then swap them out with others. No one doll sits out for too long. I plan on getting glass cases for them once I have a larger space to display :) Thanks for watching! Xoxo Suresh
I really liked your collection of barbies I think you have chosen very pretty dolls and yes you should taken them all of their boxes because is funnier.but happen to me the same I have alot barbies in their boxes and some out but I dont know what to do with their pretty boxes.

I have the electric blue City Shine one she's so sassy she's my favorite city shine I love her she gives me disco party early 80s she's soo fab. I also have the black and white bathing suit reproduction one she's so cute and really well made. I'm also obsessed with silkies because they're so fierce and stylish. Just got lavender luxe she's stunning like I can't deal. Blush Beauty is my favorite silkie she's SO pretty.

I did that with the blue CS and the b&w bathing suit, just had to get backups #ocddollyproblems It's kind of interesting to me that this year they're doing like individual separate releases of the silkstones instead of the whole collection of dolls like in the past few years, I kind of miss the gorgeous presentation videos! Still wonder if they'll do one this year when all the girls have been released!
omg I know it!! I LOVED the presentation videos and fully realized collections. I really, really hope we return to that. Such a great collection! I only started getting back into Barbie last year, so it was really interesting to see collector Barbies from before 2015.
I'm surprised you don't have Claudette Gordon. I kinda expected her to pop up in the video. :D If she were available in Belgium, I probably would've got her. I love the embroidery on her dress.

Suresh NY Yesssss, I could not figure out who she reminded me of, but you hit the nail on the head! I love the face and I love how the outfit looks in the promo pictures, but I really don't like her body. From what I've seen, I don't think the body does the face justice.

I currently display the boxed dolls in their boxes on white shelves. I don't put plastic over them as I don't want humidity building up inside.
I display my deboxed dolls on shelves, too, and dust carefully with a Cle de Peau makeup brush every day to make sure nothing sits on them. I only display them for a few weeks and then swap them out with others. No one doll sits out for too long.
I plan on getting glass cases for them once I have a larger space to display :) Thanks for watching! Xoxo Suresh

I really liked your collection of barbies I think you have chosen very pretty dolls and yes you should taken them all of their boxes because is funnier.but happen to me the same I have alot barbies in their boxes and some out but I dont know what to do with their pretty boxes.

I have the electric blue City Shine one she's so sassy she's my favorite city shine I love her she gives me disco party early 80s she's soo fab. I also have the black and white bathing suit reproduction one she's so cute and really well made. I'm also obsessed with silkies because they're so fierce and stylish. Just got lavender luxe she's stunning like I can't deal. Blush Beauty is my favorite silkie she's SO pretty.

I did that with the blue CS and the b&w bathing suit, just had to get backups #ocddollyproblems It's kind of interesting to me that this year they're doing like individual separate releases of the silkstones instead of the whole collection of dolls like in the past few years, I kind of miss the gorgeous presentation videos! Still wonder if they'll do one this year when all the girls have been released!
omg I know it!! I LOVED the presentation videos and fully realized collections. I really, really hope we return to that. I'm sure they're trying to modify the dolls to meet the current market demands, etc. But still...I DIE for the original non-articulated Silkstones that were all about the FASH-ON!!! :) Ok so wow, I have not ever bought dupes of a doll although I have thought about it.
