Oh wow. The nostalgia this video gives! I first discovered and fell in love with Tim’s videos when he was doing the original resort tours. I was joining my family for a trip to WDW for the first time in 29 years (and my first as an adult). I loved watching these videos in the months leading up to my trip!
‘There’s someone in there reading a book, so I don’t want to bother them’ the littlest things make the biggest difference 🥹 Excited for these classic tours, so much fun!
I live in Metairie. Went to College at Nicholls state on Band scholarship. The French Quarter is a Fun place. I would to stay at this Hotel just for the experience. May b more popular with Tiana ride being built
I stayed at the French Quarter earlier this year, and the room we stayed in at least had been renovated. So it was interesting to watch the video and see what the rooms used to look like. Now there's more subtle Prince and the Frog theming, laminate floors, and other small changes. They look really nice now, I was bit thrown off by the old room in the footage lol. Love this resort btw.
That large green lawn was a huge Easter egg hunt. Never saw so much candy in my life. Stayed there over Easter with my little grandson years back. He had a blast. That pace is the best..love the food. Never been disappointed. Thanks Tim. Makes me homesick.😎👍❤️
I'm so excited!! 🤩 I may have been part of the viewer feedback -- I sent you an email maybe a year ago requesting you update the resort tours! I watch the old ones over and over, lol. Thank you so much for bringing us a new set! I'm buckling in for the ride! King... of... the bus!! King... of... the bus!! ~Maggie
My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon 25 years ago during Disneyworld's 25th anniversary. It was a nice stay. That was when Disney Springs was Pleasure Island. It was nice watching this last night together and reminiscing about the resort and our trip. The Atrium still looks much the same as it did back then. Thanks for the tour and trip down memory lane!
Loving this video! Local tip... BEst Disney cheap date night: Park at disney springs, take the boat to port orleans, go to the jazz club, enjoy a nosh and a cocktail and the great live music! Take a boat back. DOne!
Our very first vacation in 1992 my hubby and I stayed here. We absolutely loved it! It's so fun to see Tim's resort tour and see the changes and relive our first trip.
Hey Tim and Jenn. My wife and myself have been big fans of yours for yours and I think have watched all the videos. I continue to hear you talk about the accessibility of places you go year after year and as a person in a wheelchair I can’t thank you and the family enough . We trust your vids the most when vacationing to Disney or Universal . Thanks again love you guys. King of the bus! King of the bus!
We just stayed here last weekend and it is such a beautiful resort!! Usually stay at all stars but we splurged. We were in building 5 and it was the perfect location. I stayed here back in the 90’s with my family and it brought back so many memories. Rooms have definitely been updated since the clip. I liked the new flooring. The beignets were amazing.
My love for this resort is something else, my favourite place we've ever been to on property. It's so quiet and relaxing after being in the parks or Disney springs all day and the entire place is stunning. Thanks for going back and updating these videos!
Port Orleans is hands down my favorite resorts. French Quarter wins by a little. Being on a budge I can't afford to stay at a deluxe resort but I don't feel it's needed because I love the feel of Port Orleans. The food, the carriage ride and the atmosphere. I love taking the walk in the evenings between the resorts. Just absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much for doing this video! My wife and I went to Disney World for our Honeymoon 4 years ago and stayed at French Quarter. This video brought back so many amazing memories from that trip. As well as memories of watching your first tour video when we were getting ready for our stay!
Keep doing these! I love the resort tours. We go to Port Orleans: French Quarter every trip to get beignets. The dipping sauces and the drizzles are AMAZING.
Really happy to see you guys doing this series again. The first one got me through COVID, but I've always been interested to see the changes since the shutdown. Thank you guys!
Me and my family used to stay here every single year from 2008-2012. It’s still my favorite Disney resort! It’s not the same without Elliot dyson tearing it up on the saxophone every night in the scat cat club
Ooh! Please re-tour all of the Universal videos if you're able to. I've stayed at every Universal hotel, but I absolutely love your tours! You rock, thanks for all you do :)
This is my favorite WDW resort hotel. We stayed in a room facing the river too. Looking forward to going back for another stay. Thanks for the great tour Tim 😊 and stroll down memory lane.
Your tour videos was how we chose Pop Century for our 2018 trip. I appreciate the updated videos & will be watching them all! We’ll be staying on property again for our next trip.
Been years since I've been to Port Orleans. Brought back great memories. Hey Tim, you do a great job. Love your videos! Am heading down to Disney in about a week and a half and these videos of yours are a great prelude to getting on that plane and heading to Orlando. Keep them coming!!!
Thank you for the update video! We stayed at French Quarter for the first time in Nov 2021 and we absolutely LOVED it! Definitely staying there from now on. It’s such a pleasant resort. It’s quiet, the river is relaxing, and we love the landscaping and theming.
Thank you for the great content you’ve entertained us with here once again. We are travelling from the UK 🇬🇧 Jan’23 and staying at French Quarter. Grateful you did this vlog, we can’t wait for our trip xx
I remember the video of you guys staying at POFQ and it was your first stay at a Disney World hotel; you were both so excited! I've loved your videos for many years and it's really amazing how far you have come! Here's to many more years of vlogging success!
I love love love Port Orleans French quarter. The room view was a real blast from the past. The rooms had been renovated the last time we were there and they had a more modern look. The boat to Disney springs is great and it’s a lovely walk down the river to Riverside. As it’s not a larger resort it has a more intimate feel, beautiful on an evening when the sun sets.
As soon as I read the title and saw that board, I cheered! I remember every single one of those resort tour vlogs being posted and not to mention “King Of The Bus!” I did the Leo point meme and cheered XD I still do that every time I get that back middle seat! I love that you’re bringing this series back!
I loved the original resort tours that started at the bus sign! Glad you are doing them again because even though we've stayed at a lot of these resorts I always see something new from your videos that I missed while staying there! And the nostalgia pull is strong.
WOW ! So glad to see a good ol' resort tour video. Really love them, that's how we first found the channel years ago! We are going to this resort next month. I will say I watch all the "bloggers" but Tim's resort tours are the most in-depth and remain my favorite.
At one point , Riverside was Dixie Landings. We stayed there years back. My daughter is actually named Dixie. She was a child. She’s now 40. We’ve stayed there at French quarters so many times. We love it. 😎👍
How timely! I’m in the middle of watching your Wish vlogs when I saw this one. We are staying her for the two nights before our Wish sailing next month!
It's a very lovely resort, I'm from New Orleans so not a resort I would want to stay at, I would want something different. Bourbon street known more for debauchery, bars and strip clubs, and Mardi Gras coins are called doubloons. I don't go to the parks anymore, but exploring the different resorts was always my favorite thing to do. I love the details and hidden gems throughout the different themed resorts. Touring all the resorts is a vacation in itself! Thank you so much for these tours, I love them!!!
I was so excited to find this today!! Haven't stayed at FQ since 2014 and I'm going back in a few weeks. So fun to see the updates and get excited for my trip. Which will, without a doubt, include a fancy Mickey beignet! Thanks for the tour, Tim, great job as always!
That was a beautiful boat ride and really nice music. I didn’t realize the tree houses were so close to the river. Thanks for a great video as always. Loved the view heading into Disney springs…I have never seen that view from the water.
Stayed here in 2013 on a recommendation from a cousin. Loved it! His tip on Port Orleans over Riverside, the bus stops here 1st. If it’s busy, the bus gets filled up on the 2nd stop at the Riverside & people can be left for the next bus.
Many Thanks for the updated video, Tim, this is our favourite resort, we have stayed here 4 times already. My wife and I will be staying here for the 5th time May/June, next year to celebrate our 60th birthdays and our 40th wedding anniversary. Best Wishes to you and the family from England.
Haven't stayed there in YEARS (haven't been to WDW since '12 either!), but POFQ is one of my fave places to stay on property, regardless of price point! Love the ambiance and architecture, the gorgeous boat ride to Disney Springs, and the small footprint - sot that no matter where your room is located, you're within an easy walk to "the main are" and the bus top (and the fact there IS only 1 needed!). My favorite building to stay in was 5 - right by the ferry, but also not that far of a walk to the main area either. Even if not staying there, I used to try and get there once a trip to have lunch from the food court, and of course - beignets for dessert - sitting outside, i the gorgeous gardens! I STILL miss Bonfamille's, the sit-down restaurant, and LOVED their black skillet breakfast. Still think they should have a sit-down. If I'm not mistaken, that closed door you were talking about used to be the entrance to Bonfamile's - about 98% sure. It wasn't a huge place, but also had French doors you could look outside (not for use) to see a gorgeous little courtyard/garden - so pretty!! I also miss the giant actually-used in a parade Mardi Gras masks and other props that used to hang in the foot court - so cool!! In case you didn't know Tim - the word "rue" is "street" in French, so Rue D'Baga is not only a great play on words, but also literally means the Street of Baga. :) Loved the gorgeous boat rides from here, or any other resort on the Sassagoula - just looking around, enjoying life and beauty. :) Also enjoyed hanging out at Scat Cat's in the evenings - used to be JUST the small area out front, no food or anything was served, and pretty small area, but they had music and entertainment some nights. One of my 1st trips down, way back in '92, some friends too me here, and took 1 of my fave pcs of me of all time (and I HATE getting my picture taken!) - me pretending to stick my head into the open alligator's mouth at the pool! :) "King of the This was all back in the day when it was Port Orleans (NO French Quarter after it), and Dixie Landings. Bus" - yessssss, Tim - have missed hearing that!! ! :) Socially distanced hugs to the 3 (soon to be 4!!!!!) :) of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!
I love your resort tours! I can’t believe it’s been four years since you last did this resort, time flies! We stayed once at French Quarter, very pretty and peaceful and the boats to Disney Springs are a bonus. It’s a small resort so if you like a more intimate feel this is for you.
Love love love The French Quarter Resort! Lots of good memories there! Glad you are updating the different resorts! I’m sure a lot has changed! Your videos are so very informative and fun!
French Quarter is one of my favourite resorts. It’s so small and quiet and beautifully themed! Just enough Disney to feel like you’re at a Disney resort but also feels like an escape from the Disney madness. I love everything New Orleans…the food court, the pool, the location to Springs…can’t fault this resort…apart from the bus route sometimes going ALL AROUND Riverside before heading out!
Such an awesome video! I’ve always wanted to stay at Port Orleans and this just made me want to go there even more!!! The resort has such a cool vibe! Some parts make it seem like you are not even at Disney, but in another world! Truly captures the magic and ambiance!
I am so happy you are doing your tours of resorts again. I really enjoyed your previous ones and was just thinking enough time had passed to see what has changed.
Love the updated resort tours! The way finding is so helpful. I think the rooms have been updated since your last stay, so they look very different than your clip. Another reason for more resort stays!
Omg so excited to see this series updated!!! Sometimes I will just go back and watch the old ones and pretend I’m planning my next trip! Idk why but just watching the walking tour of the resort is so much more fun than watching someone give a tour while actually staying there? Is it that way for anyone else??
This was the first resort I stayed at so it was fun to see it again. As a New Orleans native, I appreciate you saying the name right lol. Love the videos and congrats on the baby Trackers!
What a beautiful resort! Looks like a lovely area to walk around and just enjoy the day. Well, add that to my list of things to do lol. Awesome day! Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
I stayed in Riverside back in early 2020, just before everything shut down, and LOVED it. Decided on out upcoming October trip to give French Quarter a try. Love your walkaround tour, pointing out all the amenities and such. VERY eager to get me some Mickey Beignets!!
Great video. I stayed there last month in building 3. The rooms don't look like that anymore. They have been refurbished. No carpet, nice big tv. Loved it.
Sweet old school walk through tours the very thing that got me watching The Trackers in 2013 in 2014 the family and I stayed in Riverside Great information helper Thanks Trackers
Oh wow. The nostalgia this video gives! I first discovered and fell in love with Tim’s videos when he was doing the original resort tours. I found Tim from these kind of videos too! I love he’s redoing them
Same!
Same! I even stayed at the French Quarter because of Tim’s original tour!
“King of the Bus!!” I still recite this if we’re the only ones on the bus, lol. So nice to see Tim is updating the resort tours. Love it!

I’ve stayed at a few deluxe resorts but Port Orleans French Quarter is my absolute favorite! I’ve stayed there many many times! Love! Love! 💕
It’s such a lovely and quiet resort. Not to big either so easy to get around.
Your videos makes my lunch breaks even better. Thank you.

I'm there in a year Tim! 🥰👌🏼
KING OF THE BUS IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!
I remember when they were on the hunt for baby shampoo at the resorts. I love these updates on the resorts
By far my favorite resort! Staying there since the early 1990's. Just perfect. The boats to Disney Springs great!
I’ve lived in New Orleans my whole life, and lemme tell ya, the French Quarter has NEVER looked this clean!😂
Came here to comment just this! From houma and we go to NOLA often. This resort is the dream version of the French quarter. 😂😂
Still love NOLA though
It's probably never smelled so nice either, haha
@@katelinrobichaux6220 Lmao your name is Robichaux, I could have guessed where you’re from😂 you right, but frankly this version is 🥰

The reason I started follow this channel was because of the resort tours. Great to see an updated version of them. Thanks.
Your resort tours are SO RELAXING. I don’t know what it is, but I love just putting them on in the background and listening to you talk about resorts!

These videos are how my husband and I picked our park hotel when we went to WDW in Jan 2020! Super helpful, thanks Tim & Jenn!!!
These videos are why I staryed watching this channel back in 2018. No one gives a more detailed video of resorts than Tim amd Jen.
I'm a school teacher and I just wanted to say that you guys are the best parents. Jackson and the new baby are very lucky kiddos :)
Why is it important that your a school teacher .who cares

My favourite resort. So peaceful and quiet
We stayed at this resort a few years ago. We loved it! Food was great, and the resort was so quite.
Your resort tours are THE BEST! I enjoy them so very much! And the Port Orleans resorts are among my faves!
Thank you for the memories. We stayed here in 2015. That large open area near the fire pit is where they put up a screen and show the movies.
Thank you so much for doing this video! My wife and I went to Disney World for our Honeymoon 4 years ago and stayed at French Quarter. This video brought back so many amazing memories from that trip. As well as memories of watching your first tour video when we were getting ready for our stay!

We go to Port Orleans: French Quarter every trip to get beignets. The dipping sauces and the drizzles are AMAZING.

Thank you for the update video!
We stayed at French Quarter for the first time in Nov 2021 and we absolutely LOVED it! Definitely staying there from now on. It’s such a pleasant resort. It’s quiet, the river is relaxing, and we love the landscaping and theming.

These old school resorts have so much more personality than the new high rise ones. Wish Disney would go back to these quaint style resorts.

I haven't been since 2017. I haven't seen Galaxies edge, toy story land, TRON, Guardians coaster, Remy's ride. Looking forward to Tiana's ride

We stayed at Riverside in 2018 and walked over to FQ for the beignets! It's a lovely walk.

Yes! 💙 can’t wait to see all the resorts review updates! King of the bus! 🤴🏻🚌 Being watching y’all since 2012 I can’t believe 10yrs already! Crazy lol
Great resort tour Tim- very thorough! We are trying new resorts around Disney and we always refer to your videos. Thanks so much!
Yay, back to the bus board! Super excited to see these updated tours. 👍
This video is the equivalent of comfort food in the winter...what a special feel this one had :)
These type videos have always been my favorite you've done. You do such a thorough job covering details.
Honestly, Resort hopping is one of the best things at Disney World. They are so neat to explore.
Thank you for all the tours. This is how I found Tim's videos through the resort tours.
Love this long detailed video of this resort Tim.. keep them coming
You are so precise when explaining way finders perfect xxx
YAYYYYYYYYY so glad the resort tours are coming back :D
