It's the kind of thing those of us that have been using that Amazon dots and whatnot have wanted for years. So it feels less like a slave doing things like turning our lights on
@@CreatorMagicAI Maybe I'm wrong but my method of thinking is the kind of stuff that they do with the Amazon home assistant system should be enough of a closed loop to not have problems with AI hallucinating and something like this version of gdt would allow their system to do things like let you pick the name you use for your assistant and speak to it more like a human being and have actual interactions with it. Honestly I don't know why they haven't made any attempt to really change or update anything with their AI assistant system in almost 10 years some of the features they did and we can't even use in Canada like the Samuel L Jackson version
I've used the old one, the one he is using definitely seems like the new one. For example, it commented on the tone of his voice, which the old text to speech converter is not able to do. Plus the voice sounds much different on the old one compared to the one used in this video.

Not trying to burst your bubble but you’re still using the gpt 4 version. Still has the gpt 4 voice and if you ask it which one it’s using while having the GPT 4o enabled it will tell you it’s still 4. You would be able to interrupt it without it saying click to interrupt as shown in your video. Also you’d be able to also use a visual option. The only feature available right now for GPT4o is typing on the web version with live search capabilities. If you choose gpt 4 on your app you’ll notice everything is the same.

Not voice or video yet. it will be out in a few weeks. That would have made this HER imitation 1000 times better. Nah, this is GPT-4o, it said so in the drop down when I booted into the new macOS app.
