- SGD Studio, really, I was skeptical about this, I should right? But TLDR, it turned out really fine if you would do some light work with it. Now really looking forward to SGD Studio's Nier Automata 2B. Yes, if you like this Unboxing and Review, there is a Nier Automata 2B in the works. But seeing how these becomes really real and big, I guess any wife will leave, but we seek their understanding.
You know I'm a FF fanboy, so there will be a lot Square Enix figures on this channel. I also pre-ordered Aerith and Elena PAK.

I was just thinking about you the other day! Wondered how you have been doing! These "action figures" have been showing up since a certain company (VERYCOOL) managed to make medical grade silicone dolls for the 1/6 toy collectors. I guess for awhile they have been making bedroom silicone dolls too, so they just took another step to make these. Really glad they made these!
Been a new trend of late. The Play Toy Chun-Li is a recent example of this Medical Silicone Gel for skin type of figure and I pre-ordered their Cammy as soon as I heard it was up for grabs.

She looks like Tifa more than enough which is good. I wish I collect this size figures.

Do you mean Marie Rose from Dead or Alive? I think they made a 1/6 scale of her recently. But if you are thinking about SGD releasing her, I think the chances are really slim. :(
I have a silicone Mai shiranui similar in size and quality to this. Thankfully found it for fairly decent price. This Tifa is now going for a lot on eBay, about $2,000-$3,000
Can you tell me which Mai Shiranui is it? I'm really interested. This Tifa is crazy atm, I will wish for anyone to skip it.

It is because people on my Discord group was talking about their wives disapproving of such figures. But I guess some form of trust can be created to enjoy the hobby. My gf is actually fine with figures of any sort. So talk to her! And probably buy something you enjoy!

FF7r Tifa’s eyes are slightly different but this is still, without a shadow of a doubt, the best Tifa doll I have ever seen.

Anyhow, I am kind of keen in your long term review about the general upkeep on silicon figures since I observed manufacturers are begining to introduce pvc and silicon variants. I wondering what are the advantages/ease of maintainence or not.
Thank you for the wholesome feedback! and congratulations to getting the Creation Tifa, that is one of the best Tifa in my opinion, and I'm sad I didn't manage to get that one. Now, it's almost impossible to get unless I pay a huge premium. And I think she isn't that bad, If you feel good about your collection, others will feel good about it too! I hope.
Regarding the care for silicone doll videos, I do have them at different scales and I really wish I can do a video about that and I definitely will, but in the meantime, I can just quickly say, without some protection, the doll even stains with dust. Sometimes I give them a soap bath, but I have some figures just looking dirty. I just make them fully clothed.

Regarding the statue, I got it recently from a local seller via Carousell at a respectable rate. I do see some vendors at Taobao selling at around the same rate but I haven't bought resin statues from there (just pvc ones) before, so I am more cautious, coupled with after service availability in case of any breakage.
@@WayneLLC Agree it's one of the best Tifa. Lucky you. Is his name Sombree by any chance? And for Taobao, a reliable GK vendor is probably 猴子GK雕像潮玩. But I haven't have any after sales needs. But yea. It can be so risky if it's a scam. It's difficult imo.
@@oricebucket got it from Jamiebiubiubiu :) she also has a RUclips channel that in parts has her sharing about her hunt for Tifa. I bought PVC ones from Sombree before - both sellers are very credible and nice.
I actually followed that Taobao merchant too but yet to get any - don't actually have more space for resin now, or even my PVC figures 😢, but (if I ever get more space) I am interested in some from Piji Studio, those from AmerFort Elf series.

This figure is so beautiful it's unreal. I don't understand why some say she doesn't resemble Tifa. To me this figure is the best looking Tifa, by a long shot. I hope they will make Aerith or Yuffie in the future. I'm still hesitating on 2B as I will quickly run out of space to display these if they release one or two per year....
I think maybe some of us saw it at a bad angle, but when I got the angle right, everything after that was perfect.
I think you should get the 2B then think later, seeing it's so hard to get the Tifa now. It's nice knowing another FF fan! I'm a big fan of Aerith! I hope they make her too. She is gorgeous in every figure she is made in.
I'm not 100% sure on this but it could they are only making a much smaller batch for 2b (maybe 500) than they did with Tifa (2000 dolls) so she could be rarer still. They could follow up with a bigger order but so far it looks like it will only be 500 and they have said they won't be making any more Tifa dolls.
@@nate3315 I don't think they will be making anymore Tifa since they have finished using the mold. But I'm pretty sure the batch for 2B will go beyond 500.

I didn't know there were figures with screws and wires to exist. She is perfect! Skin looks realistic and face, clothes and hair are super!

I think this is definitely one of the first for character figures and yes, it is absolutely beautiful!
I love to do a room tour, but just a sneak peak before I do it, I have been trying to keep the room tidy, but they are really filled with boxed figures still waiting to be opened, some don't make it to the channel, but in the video, the room is really just one part of it, when I turn the camera around, it is really a disaster! I think I should definitely change the Title, actually the wives' anger was a collection of many wives on my discord.
This looks pretty neat, I never heard of SGD before so I assume their a newer company. Considering that, TIfa looks pretty good, though for the prices she goes for on ebay and other second hand retailers, might as well just scale up to the um... ahem gamelady one. Also from looking at the hands and how the silicone looks there I don't think the SDG will really stand the test of time. I've had some older Phicen figures tear over time and this one looks kind of cheap, at least for the price.
Yea, Tifa's their first offer, followed by 2B. The Gamelady one, I have seen it live before, well, it's really not too bad! We will see if this silicon will withstand time. They did indicate this as "medical grade" silicon, but of course we have our doubts. I too have the Phicen figures that teared. But also, oddly, my first phicen that I abused (my experiment figure), is still standing strong without tears. I'm quite perplex by it though.

If she’s at my height then it’s 1:2 scale for 80cm but she’s slightly taller as researched it’s 1.67m. And it’s confusing as the box stated it’s 1/3. The figure is about the height of a table but looking smaller here, maybe you should sit next to her to better visual the size.
Did you shower her hair with conditioner softener? Maybe can apply some hair oil to fix split ends so easier to comb. 🤭 it feels much like playing bigger version Barbie doll.
Actually it started as a 1/3 but the figure grew in size as time went on until it reach it final size of 80cm tall.

Hey, please don't be. I have the PAK Tifa too, it looks gorgeous, and it can also be replaced with a fairly cheap enhanced face sculpt. I love that figure. Of course I love this, and I missed many other figures. I know I can't buy them all, so I really enjoy watching other channels' unboxings too!

Agree she is a 50/50, I think they actually used her ingame model to sculpt her accurate to every distance. Maybe they didn't sculpt the side view accurately.

I think it's highly unlikely man, since they already went the 2B route, I think they will try to milk the popular characters if 2B does well, and I guess that's also another reason they are not giving info for SGD003.
That is a HUGE box and sure packed well. first time seeing the 1/2 figure but it should be called the doll. I am very impressed with this design that she moves just like a real human and has all the main details of a real human. I think this is a very awesome doll but i think the hair part is one of the painful part, because hairs are very soft and easy to get dust on it. And wondering will those hair glues or some kind of hair jam works on those hairs ?
@@jimmmm I think it should be a doll. Because they too, made a working gental for the doll. But only a baby could fit in it. Regarding the hair. Yes. Normal human products work fine. In fact it came with it, that's why I had to shampoo the products off her and straighten the hair. Thanks for your support!

Maybe in Advent Children to a degree but that is only cause Cloud was distancing himself from others due to dying of Mako Poisoning.
The doll is detailed even in every nuk and cranny. And I do mean EVERY nuk and cranny... (if you know what I mean).
Unfortunately the Nuk and Cranny is really just a pen holder...

@@nyaa_lofi So sorry about that. I think I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of time taken to film this. Basically it's a ball joint. So you can tilt front, back, side. Or any direction you like.

I bought her from Avolounge. I find them to be a little overpriced, so I bought SGD 2B from Taobao, China, direct.
I just put her in the room with me. I'm not too careful with these items, and I find the only thing that breaks are my TBLeague figures (and it's just a few of them). Yup, I find the most damage with handling, like it gets scratched and also discolored. Well, can't beat wear and tear. It's the saddest thing! Thank you for watching the videos.

at first I was curious why you would stop at 1/3 scale, at that point just make it Life Sized, then I realized is a Soft model and is basically a XXX doll so I guess they stopped at that scale so ppl couldn't use it as such haha

I think the actual preorder price (100% payment) was around 850USD. I really quite embarrassed to say and I actually really advocate responsible spending.

Oh! Yes! I didn't put the specs into the video. This is the one with the bigger honkers. There's no 1/3 scale SGD Tifa doll though, they changed it to 1/2 during production. Which is good!

I was wondering why no one mentioned this! And you thought the same. I thought the made her look so S compared to Aerith, except for the cutscenes, where Tifa looked really good!

by the way, the only thing that makes it 10 out of 10 is the face molding. that 3D tifa face modeling is gorgeous. you could cast any angle of light on it's face and it shadow will fall perfectly around the face. imagine if human actually born with that facial bone structure.

@@user-p4bl04 Aa. The reason goes like this. They intended to make a 1/3 scale figure. But somehow it ended up being 80cm. Which also translate to 1/2. So I thought it was better to present it as 1/2.

Also i can't help but notice the...seams on the side of the body, is the seam really that pronounce on the figure (well, statue)?
It is really pronounced, really, because they probably can't sand silicone down and it is probably where the mold separates. I think if they cut them down further, it may result in a tear in future, or an indentation. However, smaller silicone figures don't really have such pronounced seam lines. Well, the good thing is, in real life, you don't really see it. Thank you for watching!

People might not agree because there's not a good 1/6 Tifa that is released. But the VStoys Tifa is the best in my opinion. Also PT studio is by far the best Tifa headsculpt. I think they also helped ACG studio make Tifa. The preorder has been closed.
For 1/6 Tifa that has not been out, STARMAN, ACG and Gametoys are what we are all looking forward to. I've preordered all, just waiting for it to be released to review.

@@MagicDonut00 Hi. This is indeed 1/2 size. It is 80cm, which makes the actual height around 160cm. Scaling works where every linear length is divided by two. For example, height, length of legs, hands, everything that can be measure with a ruler is divided by 2.

She is here. SGD001 is Tifa, SGD 002 is 2B. I think they are not very complete with the clothes so they posted the head first. I ordered the dynamic version. But I did over a chinese store I established some relationship with (Taobao). It is a great "action doll"!

Actually, you shouldn't need to shampoo it. Because the manufacturer has already styled it for you and set it with a reagent. However, after being compressed in the packaging, some of these rooted hair headsculpts actually have the hair take the shape of the foam box or the face, so it actually takes a different shape.
In fact, after shampooing it once, I didn't get the reagent off her hair, sometimes it needs a little wash. Many will say to not use human products on the doll for the fear of ripping of paint from the skin, or damaging the silicone. I agree, so I inverted the head to shampoo it. The hair was really curly so it needed to be set to actually look like Tifa. For other rooted hair head sculpts, they do have the same problem too.

I'm assuming this is the sex doll from Kumadoll or something. Is this the 1.0 version or the 2.0? And did you pick the functional vagina add-on? Supposedly they look the same with or without the function.
Hi! This is not the s-doll unfortunately, it is just a huge action figure made out of silicone, made by SGD Studios. Even though it has a detailed V with a hole, it is really just a scale model and it fits nothing more than a little pen.
I just checked out Kumadoll, they carry JYdoll and Gamelady dolls, they should be of the same quality, but however SGD is 1/2, and a very recent product, even more recent than Gamelady and JYdolls, the silicone has details and are of a better grade. Specifically platinum silicone.
